    Hello,

I'm going to be going to Costa Rica for my honeymoon with my wife, and I was looking for suggestions for things to do, as well as a motorcycle to rent. We don't currently have anything planned out (originally we were planning on going to Puerto Rico, but, well...) other than the fact that we're planning on going to Puerto Limon on the night of the 12th, oh, and I should add that we're hoping to rent ideally in the San José area

We are hoping to rent a motorcycle, preferably from a local, so we're thinking a CG125 or equivalent... something that doesn't stand out too much, doesn't scream, "foreigner", and doesn't cost $1000 for a security deposit. If anyone knows someone, or has any ideas for this, please feel free to DM me or post on this!

In addition, we're looking for things to do (hiking, volcanoes, cool places to eat/swim/stay), and if we get our hands on a motorcycle, we'd love to ride with people!

    Thanks in advance!

Be forewarned that SJ,CR is a heavy traffic, hard to get around city and not a great place to ride IMO. Get out of town quick as you can and it calms down a bunch. We are frequent travelers and wasted two hours or so just to find a newer chain, business class hotel! Lots of websites with CR tourism stuff and plenty of lodging to be had. The country is generally user friendly but expensive for what it is. I mean well here & hope you enjoy your trip but not one of our favorite places.

You can rent from the BMW dealer if you like. It's a little expensive but hey, it's your honeymoon. Like Kantuckid said...the traffic is crap. with that little time I think I'd go to La Fortuna and see the volcano, maybe do some outdoor stuff, rent a scooter from a local company and go around lake arenal. Then return to San Jose.
Domenical, Manuel Antonio, Lake Arenal, and Tamarindo are the more popular spots.
It all depends what you want to do.

Wild Rider will deliver the bike to Alajuela.
We took a quick cab from airport to a hotel in the center of town. On the return we then stayed at the same hotel ,(sorry can't remember) and Wild Rider picked bikes back up. Very easy!
