IMG_20171204_104428.jpg We ate at this place this morning, Villas de Santiago, it is near the Zocalo in Saltillo. Paid parking nearby. Pass on breakfast, go for lunch. Indoor atrium with live music. Prices are fair for the atmosphere. There are a couple of rooms that have a 1940's theme. Food is OK , nothing to write home about. IMG_20171204_104412.jpg

IMG_20171205_122407.jpg On the main highway heading south to Linares from Monterey is Tinos. It is before the Pueblo Magico town of Santiago. I had the Chile relleno cabrito with chili Pepin. $95 pesos. Pretty good, my wife had caldo de rez, not bad ... IMG_20171205_123441.jpg IMG_20171205_131316.jpg

Meat & beans for breakfast:lol2 Seriously, my aging bowels like the other choice that's often seen in Mexico for breakfast-clear plastic cups of fresh fruits ready to eat. Makes yer stuff work better!!!
Mexican peanuts with a cold drink for a quicky lunch break.
Those 4 tacos look delicious but have enough meat on them to feed 2-3 other people IMO? I like to mix it up with combo of meat, lettuce, maters, cheese, cilantro & beans...
Jimmex-you are a "fancy man" :-) That place looks above my pay grade?:lol2

IMG_20171207_110542.jpg Just had some street tacos for breakfast. It was near the Walmart in colonia Echegaray, Municipality of Nacualpan, Mexico City. I have been going to this place for about ten years, 16 pesos for juice or taco. I recommend the chili relleno.
