Congratulations on the sale ( i Guess :scratch), finally. Someone got a great deal on that bike. What is going to replace the 950?
in the army they say: "once a paratrooper- always a paratrooper" i feel it's a bit like that with the lc8's

Yeah, I'm thinking a Scrambler, unless I can come across a smoking deal on a Superduke, then I may stay in the fold.

That Adventure will go down in my personal annals as the greatest of them all, and like several before me, I may well be back. I just need a change right now...a different motorcycling direction.

Special shout outs to CPModem, CJRacer, Zuber, Powercell, Navin and several other regular contributors to this forum - ya'll know who you are and who I mean! I really wouldn't know squat without your shared wisdom...Thanks!

Adios, I think you'll miss the KTM, I know I would. But change is good too, hopefully you find something that makes you want to get out and ride every day.

If KTM comes out with a 750 twin- light weight version of the Adventure... then you know you'll be back. With the 9xx Adventure, the gravity begins to take over with age. So it's simply a matter of eventual catch and release.

:bubba Sold my 04 KTM go last fall, to head in another direction... after test riding a bunch... ended up back in the saddle with a 04 standard..with all the goodies of course....

They dont make another bike comparable... IMHO...

Somehow we all go back to the Dirty Whore...

    Mr. Chuckracer.

So sorry to see you go.
Life is about change, and change can be good.
Stop by from time to time, and tell us what it's like "outside".

    Cheers.

Mr Chuckracer, the best of luck with your new ind ever. No need to say good buy with your knowledge of the lc8, hope you will pop in now and again.

I sold mine for a song last week and don't miss it a bit. That bike was a blast to ride but a complete PITA to own.

Don't think you can get away very easily. Have you thought of 990SMT? I guess you probably have.
    Fair well.
