Somebody please confirm they can see my pic above. Thank you.
Yea, that one is good.
Let's see if this works from Google Photo:
Did it work?
Yes it did!!
Frustrating...when I add images via google photos link, they're viewable for a few hours then disappear for everyone but me. Any ideas?
This works for me on several different forums:
With Google Photos, CREATE a "Shared Album". From that album, right-click on the pic and click on "Open image in new tab". Then open that tab and right-click on the image, and click on "Copy image address".
Next, open the tab with the Adventure Rider post you are working on and click on the IMAGE icon. That brings up a window with an "Image URL" with the cursor blinking in the address bar. Do a "CONTROL- V" to paste to paste the IMAGE ADDRESS there. Then add "?.jpg" (without quotation marks) to the end of that IMAGE ADDRESS in the address bar, and click INSERT. Viola.
This sounds like a royal pain more than it really is. After you do it a couple of times muscle memory kicks in. However, if anyone knows any shortcuts, please let us know.
This is exactly what I do. My images show up then disappear after a few hours.
I have heard that Google takes active steps to disable external linking when they find it.
Yeah...I think they're getting my links more often.
Breakin' the nternets - again.
Why would they want to do that?? Just asking.
Because shit tons of bandwidth used for doggie photos.
Someone has to pay for the load. Hence, the implosion of Photobucket.
The Google TOS specifically says they won't carry your traffic on social media.

Eggzachery. With the proliferation of forums, external linking consumes exactly Eleventy Billion Metric Shit-tons of bandwidth. Bandwidth which the ISPs and web hosts would have you believe is worth more than your first-born child.
Don't get me started on data caps.
This seems to work!
