    I've been searching for a black one for my 1150GS but they're hard to come by. I think they are the best solution for tank protection and tankbag mounting. I've had them on two bikes, a VFR750 and Multistrada 1100 and they were great.

    just a guess, but you would have to remove it often to wash the grit out from under it, or it would destroy the paint... right?

    hmm interesting point..but these guys have been doing it a long time and in Europe its been really popular not sure that would be the case if they screwed up your paint..guess it depends on your riding conditions..

    it dosent colect gritt under it and it comes on and of in 1min. You can keep it on and if you have don it correctly it sits tight and dont move.
