    Congrats!
Good looking Burgie and a killer deal.

Although I use and love all my other bikes I still rate my Burgie 650 Exec as the best two wheeler I`ve ever owned....hope you enjoy yours!

You did good. Nice looking machine and fantastic price. You have a Big Ruck too I see. I like the batwing windshield. I just picked up a Ruckus recently, heck of a deal ($700).

Took a couple of hours today and did a little detailing , now it's presentable .
It's been sitting in the PO's garage getting dusty for a while . Also , he was not what you might call picky when it comes to CLEAN ! Any way here are a few more pics in the more "presentable stage" . I have to say that now that it's cleaned up I like it even better . This really was a great deal . :D TheReaper!

It's a fine complement in your garage to the BR. Each is everything the other is not.

I'm using my 650 as my "touring bike" - it's that good; there's that much luggage capacity on it. For around town, it's either my BR or my RucKlone. Depends on where and whether there's worry about vandalism or theft. Both draw attention; but the Klone is a commodity - some butt-head steals it, I can have another tomorrow.

    Anyway...the B650 is the gentleman's way to go scooter-touring. Top speed: Over 100. :eek1

Congratulations on a great bike and deal!

    I'm loving my 650 Burgman.
    Wife loves her 400 Burgman.
    Both are excellent scoots.

I think now I have the best of all of the scooters now , A Big Ruckus , A Tmax and now a Burg 650 . WTF you only live once . My brother saved saved saved , worked his ass off for 42 years in a GM factory , then he died of esophageal cancer a few weeks ago . Before he died he told me how he wished he would done more to have a little fun , he lived like a miser and left his only daughter 3/4 of a million . That ain't gonna happen to me .

If you are ever brave enough to try the 'darkside' on the Burgman 650, let me know.

Results are great for two-up riding, smoother ride, longer lasting rear tire (20k mi. vs 8k mi.).

How does that work exactly , I know they get crazy mileage but how do the work in the twisties ? Isn't the back fighting the front some how ?

It's like any other tire, take some miles to get used to and after that push it as hard as you want.. mastering anything just takes practice.

I just ordered a new set of tires , the ones on my burg were still really good the front looked like a new tire . That said they were the originals and were 6 years old , so I decided to replace them . One of these days I'm going to have to test drive one . I know a lot of guys had them on their Valkyries and swore by them . There are a lot guys on the BUSA site who also swear by them .
