That's a Fairbairn-Sykes dagger. I'd need to do a little research to properly type it, but that is certainly a nice piece of history! Thanks for sharing.

Yep, Fairbarin Sykes (SP?) Anyway, if it is an original real one, it is worth some serious coin on the collector market but it sounds like you'd never sell it.

    Smithy,

Thanks for the correction on clip-point vs. drop-point, I appreciate it.

Also, thanks Smithy and Sniper-X for the Fairbairn-Sykes dagger identification.

If you look closely, you can see a little wave at the end of the blade... That's where my dad jabbed it into a tree when he was a little kid, in 1956... :D

I'm moving exactly one block south of my current location. Still just within Little Beirut proper. :clap

Idk anything about knives. Have an old timer and tree knife from one grandfather i keep in the car/truck thats its.

    The other left me these.
Two Puma, a colt, a couple of bucks, random pocket knives. All probably needing cleaning. Green stuff on the brass, rust etc.

Keeping in the theme of sheepsfoot and automatic, here are 2 of my newer carries.
Top is a Spyderco Jason Breeden Rescue and the other is a Gerber D.M.F.

The picture makes it look better than it is. I've had it for nearly 20 years and its been my daily wear for almost all of that time. Its a little beat up and scratched but still keeps good time.

G Sakai captain camp knife. Bought it for the camper but it's been moved in to the house and the Henckles in the kitchen went to the camper.

Mine needs a new battery and a cleaning but on the outside it still looks pretty new.
