    Evening gents

Ok, we are in Medellin, Colombia now, bike is at R2R KTM getting valve check, shock bush and shock fluids changed and Flexijets in, all good, only thing that worries me is they cleaned her up so beautifully we will look like mid life crisis riders until we can find a puddle or two :evil.

Valves, 4 inlets were all in spec, all 4 exhausts were out of spec at 0.33.

The question I have is we put in new Motul 15 - 50 in San Salvador so we have done 5600 km since then but the oil has now disappeared from the tank window.

She has hardly used a drop anywhere till now, is this a trait of Motul oil?

The only thing I would say is we have been engine braking down 8 - 9 km long descents under heavy engine braking at times to avoid cooking up the brakes.

She runs very well, no smoke, clean pipe, clean plugs etc so I am at a lost and with the Castrol 20/50 dino oil she didn't use a drop .... stumped.:eek1

    Experts??

I suppose I could always cut another window a bit lower in the tank :rofl

Glad to hear from you. Or not have herd from you :) Things must be going ok.

I cant help with the Motul question cos I use Castrol 4t. I do know that the cam chain noise at start up is down to 1 second with this oil.

Perhaps take it on a normal run for a bit and check. I think you have recently done your water/oil pump seal so I think that can be discounted.

    Cheers.

Yup plus or minus ok, a few little funnies as you expect just stumped with this, no leaks or anything but unusual usage.

Might try a different breed of oil next time although Motul is a good brand.
