I didn't say it was spectacular but it is competitive.

    60CSx $300
    Oregon 300 $400
    Zumo 550 $675
    Nuvi 500 $375

There's always the benefit of buying direct from the manufacturer. Not that Garmin has bad CS but gives you an edge when dealing with them.

First time posting here, but I've been following along for quite some time. For any canucks out there I just picked up a garmin 60cx for 249.99 CAD at Canadian Tire.

Fair price! GPSCentral.ca lists it for $359!

Before anybody asks, the difference between the 60Cx and the 60CSx is that the Cx lacks the barometric altimeter and the electronic compass.

While checking out Lowrance XOG thread, in search of a possible replacement for my 276C, I found the XOG for $149 at Crutchfield. And there appears to be another 10 bucks to be saved if you pay for it with something called eBillme.

Anyone have any experience with this site? 60 csx for 262.78 is the best deal so far.

    Glad I could help.

The discount from the Live program is now at 30%. Might be a black friday deal or something.

Is there any way to know for sure that you're getting the 30% off before you BIN? I was just looking at a Zumo but if I understand correctly after you pay for the item then you go to your Ebay messages and find a message with info on how to submit a request for your 30% back. Correct?

    Thanks.....Barry

I am not seeing ebay on the live website as an option... am I doing something wrong? Do you see ebay right now? What are you searching for and what link did you use?

I would love to get 25-30% off of an exhaust for my VFR or a Zumo that I have been wanting for a while.

    Thanks in advance.

In the search window I just entered "Garmin Zumo" and the first two search results, one of which was Ebay, show the gold $ sign by them and supposedly they are the ones that will get you the 30% back after 60 days.

Same here. Seemed to work off and on this past Friday, but this morning, nothing. Wonder what kind of sporadic, timing gimmick MSN Live, ebay, paypal, etc is using.

I usually do a search from the www.live.com main page. The first 2-3 links are in a green box (ad?) and the top link is usually the eBay link.

I did a little shopping with the 30% off and noticed that I got instant cashback on some items and others were a 60 day wait. The instant cashbacks showed up within seconds in my paypal account.

Just tried it and it worked for me again.

Ebay does not show up as a vendor on the cashback site.

After you have registered for the live.com search engine, you need to do a search with it. I searched for Garmin Zumo 550. When the search page comes up you will see the usual type of search page come up with the first item at the top of the page showing a gold $ sign with a banner saying
"live search cashback". Should be an ebay link. Click on that item and it will take you to ebay. I made sure I logged into my ebay account and clicked to keep it open all day before I linked to it through the live.com site.

At the top of your ebay page there should be a gold dollar sign followed by a green banner saying Microsoft Cashback 30%

    It's working this morning...

You have to use live.com to perform the search and click on eBay the "link within the Sponsored Sites" box.

As an aside, once you get to the ebay page you're going to have to choose someone to order from. I ordered the following ebay item number:
110317134646. Item is sold by Audiovideo Direct. So far transaction has been going great. Just ordered yesterday and have received about 4 emails from them and they shipped it yesterday. They have a 100% feedback rating with over 25,000 transactions, so looks pretty good.

No affiliation with them, just passing it along if it helps someone.
