I just scored a "new in box" Zumo 350LM for $70 CDN.

It came from a Renault Dealer who offered this unit in a vehicle called a Duster. It came with a mount specific to the dash in that vehicle. It only came with Euro maps. So I needed to buy a mount and a power cable for another $65 bucks and upload some maps.

It works fantastic. As they would say in my country, "He shoots, He scores!"

Most of the really good gps city prices are short lived. Sometimes as little as one day.

Good news though, Cabelas will hook you up today for the same price.

I just got a Montana 610 at Cabela's for $349. The sale ends tomorrow. I also saw a Montana 680 (if you want a camera) at Forestry Suppliers for $399; not sure when it ends.

I ordered a 610 from Cabela last week. Their site says they haven't shipped yet. Guess they're waiting for a group buy to close out or something.

Says it' arrive on the 15th.

Mine just says in process, with no date. The email receipt says May 17, but it's not clear if it's the ship date or expected arrival date. I'll go with ship date. So maybe in a couple weeks?

I found the Delorme (old style) inReach Explorer at Gander Mtn (going out of business) for $299 and a discount (currently 15% at the Watertown NY location).

That's the nice thing about the Inreach. It's like $28 a year and you can activate it for a month at a time when you need it.

I just picked up a Garmin 610 for $379 on Amazon. Limited quantity of 13 units according to the add. With my poor navigational skills I need all the help I can get.
