It's all good Doc.
Thanks for the confirmation. I threw in an extra one just in case!
So, folks, the new challenge is a group of Red Barns, with two from another state, and at least two with Barn Quilts/hex signs/tobacco ads, etc.
7 red barns. 1st 3 from PA. My phone won't let me post 7 at a time.
The rest of them with an extra for the hell of it.
Standing by for the conformation.....
CONFIRMED! NICE JOB!
Sorry it took so long! Was playing in the sand down in the Pine Barrens!
Thanks. Ok next the next 7 are wall or building art murals, or old style advertising painted on the facade. No billboards.
If you can't find 7 (or you don't live in a city) then at least 3 murals and 4 white barns (kind of keeping with Doc's barn theme.)
Ok, the salarymen had the weekend, so....
close up of the above
that will do it, your next 7......
The next 7 will be guardians-- of gates, stairs, driveways, doorways, portacullis, building tops, etc.. We recently did lions, so let's say only 1 of the 7 can be lions. The rest need to be other than lions (and can't be just columns of course). Gnomes, horses, eagles, dogs, trolls, gargoyles; you get the idea.
Not completely clear on what is required, but here's a bunch to check out. If 7 of them qualify, then I'll post the next group....
And they wouldn't let me photogragh the guardhouse, so this was as close as I could get to the Gargoyle with the orange hair:
You got 2: numbers 1 (lions) & 4 (which I think are dragons).
5 is another lion pair.
No problem. Will try and find some more before anyone else satisfies the list.
Had a nice ride yesterday afternoon around the neighborhood! Some VERY nice homes!
p.s., clarify what you mean by guardians of gates. A guard at Trump National is a "guardian of gates".
Also, you must have missed the horse and the fox on the other of my shots:
Have to work today, but might find a few more tomorrow...
I was mainly looking for statuary pairs- but if you can get two gate guards to pose, I'll accept it.
OK, a "loose" pair: you got three.
"You can even do this as a team if you want- as long as the single post has all the pictures in it."
In that vein, I'm volunteering my three and this one:
Now, that's 4 (leopards, not tigers)
So, anyone can use these and just add 3 to keep the game moving.
If you had gone on the ride yesterday- you would have had 3 more (horses, dogs, dragons)
Some of us have to work a little, especially if we want to get loose for a 300 mile weekend ride around the Grand Canyon of PA. Did Ed get some pictures? He could claim the tag with my "lenders"!
Here are the three or four needed to finish Doc's seven. He needs to choose the next seven.

Thanks, Mike. Walter is pretty fussy about the format of his game, so we will wait to see if he confirms. Then we can flip a coin to decide who picks the next "Pick 7"!
He will need to evaluate it at his next mensa meeting and decide then to approve or disapprove.

I ran it past the other members and can confirm, without a shadow of a doubt, that yes indeed, 4+3= 7.
