They are both about the same price (Triumph MSRP +$1000 over BMW), and I guess I agree, in a way, that ten grand is a lot of money for a bike. But I balance that by saying they do pretty much everything you ask of them, and potholes, frost heaves, etc are all taken in stride.

Sat on the Tiger 800 at Steve's today.. felt pretty much the same as the little BMW.

Nicely done and awesome pictures :clap My flight instructor in college insisted Spain had the best roads in Europe. It looks like he wasn't wrong :D

Guys, fantastic RR, thanks for sharing. :clap

Showed my wife, who's recently back on on a bike, and she really got enthused about touring again. :D yay!

    Great stuff :clap

    As always, really :D

Glad you liked Cadaqués and the Cap de Creus area and looking at those mouthwatering pics, Spain's just slipped up a few notches on the "gotta get there" list.
Thanks for yet another fantastic RR.

Just back from the latest "Tornanti" tour (Western Alps this time) yesterday, no probs with the weather, mainly sunshine and pleasant-to-warm temps. Got a couple of drenchings and some fresh white-coat up top but pretty darn good overall for a 3-week ride.

Starting to sort through the ~8500 pics coming weekend.

Just finished the latest RR from the Greg&Michelle superduo. I have always enjoyed the trips you have taken us along and this one is no different.

I´m really glad that you had such an wonderful adventure.

I need to get back to the Pyrenees ( I crossed them 2008 while riding from Estonia to Tarifa) unfortunately I did not stay long enough to fully enjoy them :(

What adventure will you embark upon next?

    P.S.
    Michelle´s pictures rock! erhmm...and Greg´s are good to :D
