looks like if we go back to France next year along with our breath-test kits we will need an armband too...

Last thing I heard is that you don't need this stuff. The French government is still debating over this issue.

I would advise you to taken more time to see the French Alps. It's amazing out there. Here you have some pic's of our trip last year.

Poster encourages riders to engage in civil disobedience and not display a yellow reflective armband.. Last I had heard, this along with carrying a breathalyzer kit in every vehicle were scrapped with the incoming new govt.

back to your awesome Euro tour.. :lurk

I just thought your sig line was so perfectly appropriate...

there has been talk of Spain & the Pyrenees.... I have to say I don't have much information on the region at all. I have a rough idea

but I am open to suggestions...

Here you have some links to several routes. It's not in English, but you can use Google translate or ask me.

Maybe you can use some tracks in your upcomming route. You can also start in the Netherlands and go south from here. There are more than enough BMW dealers where you can rent the bikes and the first night you don't have to look out for a hotel. :D

Hello Greg, Spain is on my bucket list also. I would be interested in any future thoughts you have of touring there. I have a timeshare I can use as a home base. Was thinking of Malliga on the coast. Also was thinking of doing a month over there at some point in the next few years. All the best...John

Greg, thanks for taking the time to document your trip. The RR was thoroughly enjoyableable, not to mention helpful as I intended to take my lovely GF to Gremany and ride the Alps as well.

Looking forward to the next one.

    Best Wishes,

    Dave.
