If you are interested in gardening and like to grow stuff you can eat, this is a pretty cool deal- a booklet from 1917 about growing a war time garden including garden layout and recommended varieties:

“If you plan right, care for the garden properly, and have favorable conditions, a garden 25 x 40 feet should produce most of the vegetables, except potatoes, needed for a family of four or five. In addition, it will furnish an abundance of the smaller vegetables.”

We are offering a collection of 29 varieties of 17 different vegetables along with a pamphlet including a copy of the original booklet, shipped to your door for $45.00.
