I think I have stretched the gs-911 less riding for me. As I am prepping trials of another Fueling Device for the 8GS, I no longer think I can live with out the GS-911. Where did you buy yours, and were you able to get any discounts. I need the Enthusiast,Blu, which seems to go for Threefitty...... What did you get yours for, and where....... Anyone else looking to jump..... ........
    What say you......:clap:clap

I'm holding out until the new version is released. It will be wifi enabled so it'll work on IPhones and IPads. Hoping it will be released for Christmas, but that anyone's guess.

Perhaps then it would be a good time for a group buy, as I do not need wifi, and I am sure they will be motivated to unload them, as new ones come on line. Thanks for the heads up. :clap

Group buys happen in the Vendors forum.. Selling of personal goods happen in the flea market. No selling in the bike forum please.

+1, I would be in for a group buy if this "new" version was available.

I went and searched for 15 minutes in the vendors for any gs-911 thread..... Nothing. Search engine kept stating no results. That is why I took it here. As I cannot edit the title, could you please edit it to omit the group buy.....???? I have edited the original post to reflect this.

Erling, I would be interested too if it ever comes about. I have a MAC and that won't work but found an old mini 11 HP on Windoze and that should work. iPhone so maybe the new one will work on that. Whatever... I'm game.

    Guys,
One of the most important debugging capabilities of the GS-911 is its ability to log realtime values from your BMSK. If you do this group buy, either a PC or Android phone (needs Bluetooth option) allows all the sensor data to be reported every half a second.

Sample from my 1150. You get much more data, including short term fuel trim values, from the BMSK.

Bought mine last night from Ted Porter's Beemer shop.

It cost me $50 and an afternoon to have the dealer reset the maintenance interval after I did my 600 mile service. At that rate, with two GSs (the wife just bought one), the GS-911 will pay for itself in a year, not to mention it's other uses. Drag, though, that it won't work with the iPhone. Apple bent me over again!

Ted Porter's Beemershop is a factory authorized dealer for the USA.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying it before I did the 600 mile service on mine! I hate...HATE...having to take my bike to the dealer for anything other than warranty stuff.

Learn to ignore the "service" sign on your bike and you don't have to bring it there :deal

That's the way I read it first as well... but I think he means the dealer charged him $50 to reset the light and that it took all afternoon to do it ... :freaky

Because the GS-911 records sample time, rpm, and speed (for BMSK equipped bikes), it isn't too hard to turn it into an accurate, in-road dynamometer.
