lucky bastid....16 hour work day today and I'm still not fekkin done!
Day 1 of vacation until April 29. Going to finished my PDM60 install and then go exploring. But first things first, coffee!!!
More rain and crap weather? I was bored enough to google it:
Where did you buy.
We have the same colour. Mine is from Endras. (Picked it up April 5)
I went with the adventure spec. crash bars and skid plate. Bark buster hand guards with storm plastics. Looking at Holan rear rack and the snatchy throttle fix. Also waiting on double take mirrors. Going to order the HDB top clamp and risers.
Endras as well, as im in Oshawa. Picked up mine mid March. I put AltRider Crash Bars/Skid PLate and Rear Rack with RotoPax Fuel Can (all black). For luggage I went with Jesse 10" Odssey (black) and Wolfman Tanks bag and 47L drybag for the back. I also put MachineArtMoto Mudsling and front fender extension on. The foot pegs were replaced with PivotPegz and BarkBusters were installed.
I was going to install the Centech AP-2 fuse panel, but after finding out about the Rowe Electronics PDM60, I returned the AP-2 and ordered a PDM60. Finished installing it yesterday. Put the covers back on the bike today. I hooked it up to a Garmin Montana 650 with Rugged Mount, Waterproof USB port, and Rigid Dually LED lights. I still have two 15amp and one 5amp spot left.
I left the OEM Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires on and am surprised how well they work offload. Offload = closed road with a wet sand/dirt combo. Not true off road. I plan to replace the tires next spring with either TKC80s or K60.
Was just watching it snow out my dining room window, Darren.
Only a few years back, one of the worst storms of the winter hit us April 23rd or thereabouts. Doesn't make it any warmer, but there is some consolation in remembering that. Kind of like a really bad day at work when you need to keep reminding yourself "I've done worse for less. I've done worse for less..."
Don't forget your electric vest!
Just wondering if anyone has had any work done to their bikes at Ride Motorcycles Toronto? How would you rate their staff of mechanics and overall service quality?
Hoping this weekend is the last of the frosty days here in the GTA!
Some of you may recall this post:
Well, it is the beginning of another era, for the bike anyways:
Cliff assured me that it comes with lifetime detailing by Kahoon. Kareem, would 10 am tomorrow work for you?
Actually, I have not had a chance to get it dirty yet, (when will this winter end??!!) or to even take a decent photo, but I am looking forward to putting a few miles on it.
Where i can get Carbon Fibre sheets in Toronto .?
For your carbon fibre bed.
Enjoy your new bike, Larry.
Try Composites Canada.
Way to go Larry!
No more gas cans flying off the back.
Larry, as a friend, I must tell you something, it's a secret so don't tell anyone else. Kahoon has a reputation as the King of Detailing. The reason why is.... he wanted the bike spotless so he could sit on it in the nude while admiring his work. :eek1:huh
(Lornce told me so)
you should try, larry. the adventure seat feels great on the bag
It seems like it's time for somebody to post that picture of uber riding the fat chick again!
Making your own drone parts now, Adam?
