I don't really know where to put this so mods move it if you must. This game uses google earth images and you have to guess where in the world it is. I thought some of you mototravelers might enjoy it. Post up your scores and try not to cheat!!

I keep getting stuck in big empty country or nondescript rural US towns

I had one one the Dalton highway with nothing in view but snow and dirt. I got it within like 67 km.

28721! but they were all in Europe where I could find things to read.

Sometimes you get ones that are in BFE and it's like "OK, I see left-hand traffic and yellow fog lines, South Africa?" or, my favorite, everyone is white and I see Portuguese, Portugal. Nope, Porto Alegre, should've looked at the shape of the license plates.

    This is fun!

You got 32355 points in total.

This would probably get better exposure on the regionals main page, at the bottom where all the national/international tag games are located. Maybe a mod will come along and move it.

Just a shade over 6000 points, but I got some really tough ones. Did you know that southern Africa looks just like the open prairies of Kansas? Yeah, that guess netted me 68 pts!

There was one picture taken about 40 miles from me. There was no visible writing, but I got that one within 50 miles.

On my second try, I got real lucky. One picture was what looked to me like Austrailian outback. I randomly stabbed Austrailia and got within 700 kilos. Then, one picture was near a park I had been to in Charleston. I got 6500 pts on that one by itself.

Oh, and one looked to be in some town in Russia. Russia's a big place, but I got pretty close.

Managed over 12K on this one.

    Cool Game!

    Tried again.

One was just an open field, wasn't even close. But, I got one real close that was in the middle of nowhwere in BFE Canada and was able to read enough signs to come real close to one in Croatia.

    Best one yet:

    24,190 pts

My worst one was in Oregon. But there were no road signs, no intersections, no civilization.

Alright, I'd better walk away from this game and get back to work!

You have to have all 5 pretty much spot on to get a score like that. I only know because I just found all 5 and got

    32,035

Now I can walk away from this game.

Just over 12,000 on my first go and just under 15,000 on my second. Then about 8000 because of some back road in one of the 'stans' that looked very Scandinavian! You can move around on the maps and look at the languages on signs etc to help.
