I had an R80 monoshock and sidecar many years ago and found the Block K was too hard in the carcass, making the front very skittish. The Avon SM Mk11 was good, but two more modern and long wearing tyres like the Heidenau K60 Scout and Mitas E07 would be worth a look.

I'll second that! Looks like quite the event. I'd be all shook up.
Stinkin' yard sale on the double track!

Seriously ... I'd like to avoid all that, help us out here.

Looks good. Did you put gusset bracing in all the corners? I have found (not on side cars) that the more weld joints you have and the spacing of them can cause metal fatigue and ultimately lead to another failure. Usually a failure will occur not on the weld it's self but in the metal adjacent to the weld.

I like the use of the word adapteri on your website, reminds me of my grandma and my dad speaking Finnish mixed with English when I was a little kid. They would add an I on the end of English words when there was no good word to use in Finnish. Dave Tuomala

Plenty of Finlanders in my part of Minnesota, too. You should go over there for a visit some time. The oldest Finnish-language newspaper in the world is the Finnish Anarchist one in Minnesota, I have been told.
