Nice bike Brendan, I rode a few VFR when I worked for the Honda dealership in Mornington and was really impressed by that V4 engine.

Make sure you put a pipe on it :tb

Thanks Dave it already has a Staintune on it along with a set of Helibars to give a more upright riding position. It only has 36000k on the clock.

Haha the thought did cross my mind about doing it. But first you have to finish that long term project of yours you have sitting in the shed before doing anything that belongs to me.

I am thinking of going to the auction to see who buys it, then offer them money for the chair.

shit Brendan Phillis just told me about your mishap. I think broken ribs or not I would have had more than words to say. If it had been me I would have been in a skirt, t-shirt and bike boots. I figure if the vmax is going to tip it will be all over red rover. God forbid they bring in these rules about wearing jackets, gloves etc all the time. Although I quess you had all the adequate protection. When the front guard came down on to the front wheel and stopped it dead at 70kms I got flung over the handlebars and then back on to the sidecar (cracked the screen) and the right handle bar came back on to the false aircleaner and broke my wrist BUT the broken ribs hurt worse than anything. My sympathy to you. I would have cracked it big time after all the work you did to the outfit. Who's going to jail someone of my age. Remember just use section 32 of the mental health act. Thats unfit to plead due to mental impairment. I think I would adequately qualify. I can't imagine being without a outfit. Go to the auction and heavy anyone who wants to pay big money for it. That thing that hit you should not be driving if she can't see a outfit.

Well just another small update. I'm heading to the auction for the outfit to see what happens to it and also to see if I can buy back the chair from who ever purchases the bike.

G'day Paul I got seriously out bid at the auction. It ended up going to some online bidder. So I don't know where it has gone, I only hope it gone to someone who will bring it back to it former glory.

    Shame about that.
That's the problem with auctions these days, people seem to get a rush of blood and pay way more than stuff is worth. The reason I was looking in Manheim's was in search of a repairable write off to use as a tug. Don't like my chances though, everything seems to go for way more than I can afford :cry
