Had a bit of breakfast with DirtyDR before he headed to Baie Comeau and meet his nemesis: the TLH in the rains... :puke1

Finally got our smiles?? He smiled but it's hidden by his Walruss mustache. I can't even lipread him...Sharon to the rescue...:lol3

Sharon fitting his glove sleeve over the oilskins...

    Off he goes.....

As quick as he came out of the fog and rains, then just as quick he disappears into it..

    Gone.....:eek1
    [IMG]

The rains and fog persisted all morning and things started to get a bit hectic with fogged helmet windshields ..

Coming to the free ferry at Tadousac. It's a dual ferry that carries passengers and vehicles across the Riviere Saguenay. It's like a Fijord..so beautiful that instead of building a bridge Quebec decided to have it crossed via ferry only in order to preserve it's natural beauty.

Seems like your a man of extremes! Braving the nasty northeastern dreary cold and wet weather and then next month it will be the TAT's scorching heat! Ya da man! :thumb

Tomorrow I will be heading for the Land of 10,000 Lakes. My KTM still need a few add ons before its ready for our TAT assault. Hope your not "throwing a towel" ? :gerg

No Motos through the old city??? The last time I heard that people on sidewalk cafes complained of Quebecs HD riders atttidude toward the freedom of loud pipes. So no bikes allowed to transit the old street and of what ever make, even though your bike might sound like a sewing machine...no dice..
But now in 2010 I see a different sign..it just says bikes turn left instead of them not being allowed...Hmmnn...might ride through it tomorrow

...when coming here take your loved ones on this street of restaurants for a treat to fullfill your commitment of togetherness and love.

It's our 35 anniversary and we decided to celebrate it on the road. My wife Sharon, the butter on my bread and love of my life deserves nothing better today....she got a pair of SHOES..wooo...

Many thanks for all the well wishes...you guys rock:rofl

We were allowed back into the US of A :evil and are in Morrisville, Vermont resting our weary bodies after being harrased with cold, heavy rains and gale force winds:wink: . We haven't been dry since Matane, QC.

This actually should cease our ride report after crossing the US border as the report was intended to be from Canada only however we're going to extend it a bit to include some US preludes for a while. Stay tuned...:D

Glad to see you made it back to the U.S. intact. I still think you should take a ride back up to Vermont next week though.

Great trip, Elmer + Sharon! We should try to meet for lunch today, Morrisville is only 25 minutes from my house.

My wife is so jealous of your food pics, we've spent an anniversary in Quebec City before too.

    A *very* romantic city.

If you are around northern VT for the day, we are loading up our sidecar rig to go camping at Maidstone SP over the 4th of July weekend, but would love to meet you two and check out your rig.

    Again - great trip!

I'm surprised to see you in the states though, it seems the collection we took from the inmates here and sent to bribe the border officers to keep you in Canada didn't work!!:D
Ah well, guess we can tolerate ya'wl for some more time....:rofl
