On the way back from Hondeklipbaai in the West Coast in the pouring rain, and was that fun. There I appreciated the weight advantage of the 800GS over the Africa Twin or any other heavy bike for that matter. I must mention I've got huge respect for the Africa Twin.

What tank bag are you using? Is it a problem with the key?

I don't have anything specific to ask, or say. I'm only replying because this is the first independent F800 thread. :lol3
but, since you're a REAL owner of a REAL bike, :ear :ear

Since it's the real thing, it stays a real thread, not merged. :D

+1 (the merged thread idea seemed rather disingenuous)

Compared to the AT750, it cruised on the highway at high speed very comfortable with the 800gs. I havn't ridden it off road, because of the thick sand, and mud. I would however not order a tankbag again, because there WILL get dirt under the bag, and scratch your paintwork. A larger screen, and handprotectors is optional equipment you must order imediately.
