Sympathy bump. Just so Check Oil can think that anyone else around here gives a shit about the Redskins.

Hey - I just read that Washington put the franchise tag on their starting tight end, whoever the hell that might be.

I'm only kidding CO, but 12 cut and paste posts in a row without a single reply? Even Joe Gibbs would try something new.

"While the Saints have not commented on Moss' performance during the workout, Moss' manager Joel Segal told Yahoo Sports, "Randy had an outstanding workout, as expected. He's in phenomenal shape." Confirming Segal's comments, SportsNOLA.com reported that Moss ran the 40-yard dash in approximately 4.42 seconds."

The local radio station is owned by Dan Synder....Might be a little bias left over from when he walked off field with time still left on the clock when he was with the Vikings....

: Rams, Redskins strike deal for No. 2 pick
Posted by Mike Florio on March 9, 2012, 10:29 PM EST
[IMG] Getty ImagesThe Dolphins would be wise to offer Peyton Manning more money, because their Plan B has now evaporated.
Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that the Rams and the Redskins have agreed to terms on a deal that will send the second overall pick in the 2012 draft to Washington. The Redskins undoubtedly will pick quarterback Robert Griffin III. (Or, at the very worst, Andrew Luck.)
Glazer says that the teams will swap first-round picks in 2012, with St. Louis taking the No. 6 pick. The Rams also get two future first-round picks and additional selections, one of which is believed to be a second-rounder.
The trade can’t be finalized until the new league year begins on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Hmmmm, I saw something like that before. Did not seem to translate well. Here's hoping good things for you! But not too good so as to beat the Giants.

What, no comments on the 'Skins releasing Chris Cooley? Arrington sure as hell isn't happy about it. Anyway, this was a typical Shanahan move - cold, cruel, and arrogant.

Could be just roaster move and they will pick him back up. It is strange to cut such a popular player with fans, media and teammates. Who knows, that is why he gets the big bucks coaching.
