Dan's auto.... little auto place and shifty looking used car lot on 17 up near Ark rd.
Wouldn't take a car there for anything, but they always work my bike right in for inspection, just know the bare basics to look at on a bike. Seems like they like the break for "something different".

As does Yogaville in Buckingham County on a vast knowle overlooking the James River. It's been there over 40 years.

I'm a big fan of imgur it will give you links to copy and paste to forums. Also ADV now supports uploading about 4 pictures per post.

Took the Vstrom to Dan's Saturday. I think Dan does the motorcycles. Good old fashioned place. No computer print out. The old pink slip that's easy to store. If you have a big bike be ready to be able to back it out the short incline. :ricky

I've been using Smug Mug for several years and have been very pleased with it.

I'm in search of a set of either Pirelli or Metzler brand knobby take offs that are still in OK shape. 90/90-21 or 80/100-21 front doesn't matter. 110 or 100/100-18. Might be able to get by with a 120. Anybody got anything?

Tires must be either Pirelli or Metzler branded

In case anybody is interested, they are paving the BRP. Right after Rt 56 for maybe 10 miles they had it covered in very loose tar/chip gravel and were forcing long waits for the "pilot" car. Super dusty. Not sure when it'll be actually paved, but the gravel (well, really the dust and the wait) sucked.

Not really a repave, but they are using chip seal.

Hello fellow inmates. :photogJust moved to Ghent for work, and should have my bike inbound with the rest of my household goods by the 29th. I'll check the other threads for events, but wanted to drop a note here warning the rest of you to stay off the sidewalks!
