Its not that you rode the Wee through there, I rode it with you once. Its the freakin speed in which you rode the Wee through there! As I recall, you slammed it so hard we had to borrow a crow bar to get the center stand off the swing arm :huh

I'm pretty sure I did this to the GS that day

Add site C9 to the Hampton Roads Block Party. Went ahead and booked it in case I decide to bring up a full size RV. Doubt it, but it never hurts to have more real estate. :D Tried to get C15 so we could have a little village but everything on that side was booked. Girl that took my reservation said it has been crazy this morning with all of us calling and snatching up sites!

Question for those that have been. What kind of terrain is a majority of the ride on? Figured I would spoon some new sneakers on the Pumpkin for the ride.

Unofficial breakdown somewhere in the neighborhood of 20% street 60% dirt 20% rocks. Some people have been raving about trials tires but I haven't tried them out. Any decent dot dual sport tire should do. Go non dot and the rocks will eat the tires up.

I really like pirelli XCMH on the 690, its good for the stuff you'll see up there. On that 450, they'd probably last a bit longer too.

TRED is about right on terrain. You can avoid most of the rocky sections by not doing the "hero" sections.

I ran a trials tire thru those roads a couple months ago and I loved it... until the tire literally started to just fall apart lol. Definitely a defective tire.

I picked up a GoPro 2 from my neighbor for I think a sweet deal and had it sold to a buddy but he's a lil late picking it up so I started playing with it (and might just keep). Seems like you guys post lots of vid's here and could give me the GoPro 2 for dummies once over.....and tips would be greatly appreciated!!

If one isn't an AMA member, how does one join? Cost?

Was thinking it was included with Shen 500 entry but I don't see it on their site.

    Its not included.

It is $49/year. Go to the ama website or call 1800 262 5646 and they will take your money over the phone. You will get your ama card in the mail 10-14 days later

    Hey everyone!

Cycle World Virginia Beach is going to be having an OPEN HOUSE/BIKE WASH/SLOW RACE this Saturday starting at 11AM until 5PM. There will be free food, drinks, specials on parts/service/sales and the FM99 Rock Girls ready to wash youre dirty bike. We will also be raffling off a brand new GoPro Hero 3 for everyone who participated in the facebook photo contest.

The slow race should be a TON of fun. If you dont know what it is check it out: its a drag race in which the point is to NOT cross the line first without putting your foot down. Basically its balance contest and we'll have different classes for sport bikes, cruisers and dual-sport/adventure bikes. There will be gift cards for winners in each class. Heres a video to help give you a better understanding:
