:D Nice place to put one, I have never been there. Through some "googling" I know where it is. Question now is, who is going for it?? I just swung through the casa, but I need to finish up my X-mas shopping spree. I will be back @ 230. If anyone is interested in going for this tag together, shoot me a pm or call if you have my number. :ear

    NEW TAG!!!

    Clue #1
Located on a street which is the same word for which counties are in Louisiana.

    Clue #2
This house is not named for, but sounds the same as, a blues-rock performer born in 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware.

    Clue #3
This house is owned by the city for which it is located.

    Clue #4
Constructed about 1680, well that is what the marker said outside at least.

I'll leave it up to Upst8 to re-iterate.... but that ain't how this game is played... either get on the bike and grab the Tag with your photo, or just sit there and post..."I know where it is".(period)
Posting the place and location is a definate bummer.... these guys go out there and take pictures of this stuff... if you know and just can't help yourself, at least p/m the Tag setter and say it to him, not the whole world....:huh

The correct term is Thrifty.
I normally ride the trailing edge of the technology wave, used laptops that fit in my side case are getting pretty reasonable. I'm working craigslist to find a real bargain. I also need to wire my Garmin Colormap into the bikes juice.
Then I can find a nice warm wi-fi spot quickly, I'm not ready for an aircard just yet, but it's coming.

:rofl Holy Blow Up MOB :rofl Everyone just relax, it's Sunday for C's sake!! :lol3 I can only speak for myself and say that I was on the road, not pissed, just riding along trying to remember how the heck I get to the Thoroughgood house again :ricky When I saw what was posted by MGB I figured it was just by lack of judgment at the time / lack of knowing the "GAME" and no big deal :deal So, with all that said......for anyone tuning in, Please do not post "SPOILERS". If you know and just have to tell someone PM the tag placer, if doesn't satisfy you run out into the street and tell the first person you meet, if that doesn't work call me. I will do my best to make you feel terrific for knowing where a tag is, then I may get on bike and go grab it before you get there, but none the less I will do my best to make you feel terrific.

    Rule 1-A) This is a game.:thumb

Now where the heck is that next tag??

MGB- You can still play :lol3 I don't know you, but I love you.

The ???????? were recruited from the St. Brides Paris of Norfolk County. The "???????" were named for Mr. James P. Jackson, the proprietor of the Marshall House in Alexandria, Virginia, who was killed in that city on the 24th of May 1861, for defending the flag he had raised over his hotel. That day, a large force of Federals, numbering eight or nine thousand men, had crossed the Potomac River early in the morning, and occupied the town. Seeing the Confederate flag flying at the top of the staff on the hotel, Colonel Ellsworth, of Chicago, commanding a regiment of Fire Zouaves of New York City went up to the top of the building, with several men from his regiment and took it down. As he was descending the stairs, Mr. Jackson, who had been aroused by the noise came out from his bedroom with a double barrel gun and asked for the cause of the commotion, Colonel Ellsworth pointing to the flag in his possession said "This is my trophy." Mr. Jackson replied, "and you are mine." and immediately fired, killing Ellsworth dead. Colonel Ellsworth's companions returned the fire, shooting Mr. Jackson and running a bayonet into him, killing him. Mr. Jackson had became a martyr to the Southern cause.

This Monument is where the Regiment was formed and former site of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
