Based on customer requests, as well as my own need for taller handlebars, Black Dog Cycle Works has produced a 1.25” handlebar riser kit for the BRP / Scotts sub-mount stabilizer kits. The risers match the shape and look of the BRP / Scotts upper triple clamp, so they blend in well. These kits are compatible with the stabilizer kits for the 990 Adventure, 950 Adventure and 950 Super Enduro. They should work on the 950 SuperMoto as well but this has yet to be confirmed.

This riser kit enables most riders to be much more comfortable while standing up and gives you the ability to remove it by simply replacing four bolts if doing extended pavement. We consider this the best of both worlds. Many riders won’t feel this is necessary but it is nice to have options.

We have priced these kits as affordable as possible given the custom nature of the production. This kit includes the necessary longer bolts. You now have a choice in handlebar height for your BRP / Scotts set-up, available only through Black Dog Cycle Works.

Photo shown is of prototype set before anodizing - all production risers will be hard anodized black to match the finish of the BRP / Scotts upper triple clamp.

Please see our BRP /Scotts damper products here:

For those of you that have been reluctant to purchase the BRP / Scotts set-up in the past due to the lack of availability of risers, now is your chance. We are offering FREE SHIPPING within the CONUS on our stabilizer kits, and discounted shipping worldwide.

We will be adding more Scotts products shortly so check back often!!

    Thanks

In stock and ready to go!! I am just returning from doing some more testing on them out in the desert near Vegas and they work AWESOME. Allows me to stand in a more upright position where I have better control and more comfort.

since these have been out for a while now, can anyone comment on whether or not the stock cables and hoses have enough length? This would be on a 05.5 950 ADV
