    It's coming! The 2013 Hanging Rock 200!

Brought to you once again by Buckeye Dualsporters, Ohio Motorized Trails Association, and the American Motorcyclist Association.

Now first and foremost we want yo help you get to the H.R. and enjoy the ride. We know that some riders are always rushing at the last minute to get to the riders meeting to. We also know how much you enjoy listening to Bill go over (and over and over) the roll chart for the day, Steve explaining why the arrows and/or turns are backwards in a certain section, and of course our traditional "benediction" from me. This riders meeting will actually be very unique, but it's a secret, so you have to come to find out. We don't want you to miss all that so to help you out this year we have an official countdown timer with the exact time until the riders meeting, down to the second.

The event will once again be at Lake Hope State Park:

Bill someone talking about the HR in another thread asked if we could provide a new flavor of mud.

I'm planning on doing one day, not sure which one. Debating between the 200 on my KTM or the ADV ride on my WRR. Leaning toward the WRR since I am not fast and have never actually raced before.

Neither route is a race. The dual sport is more trail, lots of single track. The adv route is more roads, a few small trail sections. Ride at your own pace.

You need to be an AMA member and we will be providing as an extra benifit a free years membership In OMTA the Ohio Motorized Trails Association.

The ride is $90 pre entry for two days and includes Lunch both days. We stop at the Zaleski Vollunteer Fire Department. We ask a donation for the bike wash and provide soup beans, corn bread, dogs and stuff. the lodge will be open for breakfast and there will be a special deal for particapents.

The Adventure ride is not paved roads. Sure we cross some but the majority is service type roads, old broken chip and seal, gravel with grass growing up thru it. We shoot for high clearence back roads, the ones you wish you knew about.
