Just did a 3 day ride over the week end with Poppy and Digga around northern NSW down as far as Bellbrook . Great country down there very similar to some of the High country in Victoria .

Here is a few more pics from last weekends ride with Mick and Digga1111 down into NSW. The plan was to get to Bellbrook, turned out the be an awesome ride and weekend. Covered plenty of great tracks, trails and even some awesome roads, some great camping on the Mann River then across the road from the pub with no beer at Taylor's Arm(it's a lie by the way, they have plenty of beer) fun times. Pretty happy with the 600klm range of this bike. Topped up at Woodenbong and filled again at Ebor with 7ltrs still left in the tanks 510klms of varing terrain and speeds. All up 1500klm's for the weekend in some very nice parts of the country. Got to test a few new mods to the bike, LED lights worked pretty good, New GPS worked great, new accessories and USB power also worked a treat. Both Friday and Saturday nights we never pulled up untill about 8-8.30, so the lights got a good workout, both times being in the bush finding our way in the dark. We got stumped a couple of times with different things, tree falls about 30 or more klms into a track and no way around apart from going back from where we had come. No big deal, we expect that sort of stuff when we go riding and are pretty well accepting of what ever happens, happens.

Mann river where we pulled to camp the night. Full fire ban in NSW, so no open fires. Was pretty bloody cool in the morning.

View from Tommy's lookout. Stunning place to sit back and watch the world go by.

Old convict rd and tunnel. Another pretty cool feature in an amazing landscape. You look at the rock and wonder how much of a prick it would have been in the day to dig through it, then you look at all the cracks and crevice's and wonder how it is still there.

Tree's just growing out of the rockface, nature is pretty cool.

Wonder if he still does. Why these fucktards choose or have to do this is beyond me. This is on the roof of the tunnel, so an effort needed to be made to do it.

Some cattle being moved by farmers. Was good to see the whips cracking and the dogs doing there mojo. Makes you wonder about the hectic life style most of us lead from city area's. 20170916_141250.jpg
No traffic, no lights, no hussle and bussel.

Bellbrook pub. A beer and chat with some locals and it was back into the bush at 4.00pm to start finding our way across to Taylors Arm.

The locals said this was gunna be a hard slog and would easily take us 3.5hrs minimum to get to where we were heading and advised of an easier route. But this was part of yhe original plan to make our way back to Grafton, so we thought we would try our luck.

    20170916_163558.jpg
The riding was fine, heading towards dusk and a bit of wild life starting to appear.

    20170916_163706.jpg
This tree fall seen the end to proceedings though. We had already lifted and crossed some fallen tree's, We could have battled on lifting and carrying the bikes over, under and through it but would have lost hrs, and then you have the uncertainty of what lay beyond and 300mtrs up the track. Time to turn around and find another way. 20170916_182849.jpg
Pretty black in the bush at night, another turn around and backtrack to find another way.

We eventually made it and had a feed and a couple of beers and a few laughs. Was a big day and the beer was great. 20170916_193800.jpg
Inside the pub with lots of beer.
