I was just checking your bike out and thought,"man, that things cool but the clutch cable looks odd,are they all like that?"...which sent me on a 2 hour google image spree and ...well.....you know how it goes :lol3

When I installed the Biltwell tracker bars I needed to shorten the clutch cable. i ordered and install a 3" shorted cable ans it slides down as i ride it. I need to secure it up by the goose-neck. There's a huge build thread on that bike here.

They do stick out and flap around, a zipstrip or 2 can fix that to give it a cleaner look

New to me electra. My mom has always told me I am an old man in a young man's body. My only plans for it right now are to find a set of FUNCTIONAL mufflers to replace the pipes that are on it. I enjoy a nice rumble as much as the next guy, but this thing is just effing loud.

I live on a popular motorcycling road and one thing I've noticed is the baggers with stock exhaust sound really good. Harley got it right IMO.
One other thing I've noticed, and I'm being serious here, is that the louder and crappier the Harley sounds the uh, "easier to see" the woman on the back is. Check it out and see if I'm not right.

    It's a 2007, and I already have a line on some stock take-offs from a local shop.

Just don't confuse easier to see with easier to look at.

What, you've never had to tell a SO or blind date, "Naa, you're not fat, you're just easier to see."?
It's one of those, "for a fat girl you don't sweat much" compliments.

It's a safety thing. Loud pipes and "easier to see" pillions save lives!

If you want something quiet that sounds better than stock, consider Vance & Hines Monster Rounds (or Ovals). I had this set of cheap mufflers on my '13 that I was happy with until I replaced the head pipe (mostly for heat reasons), without the cat converter they were loud as hell, did some research and got the Monster Rounds, I am very happy with them. S&S also makes some mufflers that are supposed to be pretty quiet as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the options, it's always nice to hear first hand about alternatives, though I am one of the few (apparently) that thinks the stockers sound nice, hahaha.
