nice looking Sporty,bud.
Do I recognize this from the Jockey?
Dunno...maybe from a couple years ago when it had a real different look. I don't post there much...if at all anymore.
Love the brakes. Amazing rendition!!! Suddenly I may have Harley lust again....
Post up some details, man! This is a bad-looking ride. Want to hear about the paint work, and the rear fender work you did.
I'm thinkin a Road Glide is probably gonna be my next ride
Looks like an Omars streettracker seat/fender to me
My Harley thing started in 04 with my Sportster-
Then in the fall of 09 I made the Jump to the Future-09 Buell 1125CR
Wow a time machine ......
-Storz body work
-Kustom paint on the gas tank by Myk Rok.
-HD Headlight visor.
-Ditched the clip ons for some tracker inspired bars...
-Chain drive kit sitting on the bench and Supertrapp XR pipes on the mind.
Pulled a 1600ish KM ride into Northern BC on the weekend...
What do ya do. You can buy new XR1200's here for under 10 grand. Man...if only I could have seen into the future. Mine won't handle as good, or keep up without another good dose of money. Who knew.
Ultimately I'd love a set of XR1200X forks, Supertrapp pipes, JMC swingarm, Ohlins shocks..... Fawk. What to do...
nice front end.
Still no front fender man? I may have to try that.
My 1960 DuoGlide.... it was my most modern bike for 10 years. It never let me down. I restored it in stages.
Wheels one year, body work the next, engine next, then down to the frame.
I rode it between the restoration of the components.
I also did a long camping trip with my brother on his 1948 Chief - back in 1992.
Beautiful bikes. Wish I had it in me to restore something like those. Always had a thing for Knuckleheads. First ride on a motorcycle was when I was in sixth grade and a farmer that knew my cousin gave us both rides on the back of his Harley. I remember sitting on the rear fender while the beast shook and rattled as he took off while I held on for dear life.
Dudes and dudettes,
