Hasn't GPR just come out with a steering damper specifically for the Husky TE610?

What I would like to know is if I could get the HDB top clamp to mount to the new GPR TE610 lower setup?

This would solve all my issues as I love the HDB system but also want a steering stabilizer that I don't have to fabricate a post for on the TE610. I like the Motosportz system also, but would prefer an under the bars lower position for the stabilizer, as the upper mount would interfere with my GPS and wouldn't work with the HDB top clamp.

Here is the link I am refering to

If you have the IMS 5 gallon tank, GPR says their post mount won't fit.

I don't have an IMS tank just the stock one. I use rotopax fuel containers mounted like panniers if I need more fuel capacity. So this is not an issue for me.

For anyone interested.. I have been doing a step by step review of the HighwayDirtbikes.com "Adventure System" over in the Orange Crush forum.

If you are considering this system or would like to know more about it, you might want to check it out.

Another satisfied customer. I can't say enough about HDB customer service, the best I have experienced. I have had the hand guards on my 610 for 8 months and haven't had any problems. Thanks Paul.

I recieved my "beefy" handguards and was stoked, until I noticed that the top clamp didn't line up:cry I was hoping to try these out on a trip to Colorado that I leave for tonight. I sent Paul an Email about the clamp and he next day aired the right clamp so I would have them for my trip:clap

    These are "beefy" and beautiful.

Pics when I get back. I'm off like a prom dress.

    Thanks Paul:freaky

So things are coming together nicely on my HDB 950 setup. I took this photo Sunday. I have both powerlets installed with a dual heat troller controlling them.

Tonight, I just received my HDB Ultimate Touring Hand Guards :wings

The touring system basically includes longer guards and a matching spacer for the left bar so everything stays symmetrical for those who use a cruise control on their bikes.

Here you can see how much longer compared to the old guard on the bike

Voila! My Kaoko cruise control installed with the new longer HDB ultimate touring guard :thumb

I don't have time to finish the install tonight but I'll post pics on Thursday when I do.

I think I'll spray paint my spacer flat black. :thumbs

A happy customer. No other connection. Top quality goods, flawless product, customer service (a couple issues with fitment (not product, my bike) and a mirror broken in shipping were handled without hassle). In the same league as Woody at Woody's Wheelworks.

    HIGHLY recommended.

    Cool guards...

Looking for the difference between the regular handguards and the "Ultimate Handguards"... riding an XR650R, so it's not a 400+ lb bike. (don't see a distinction on the site unless I'm missing something...)

Also - I'm assuming if I hook up one of the on/off switches in the top clamp, I could use that as a "permanent" kill switch? (a little theft prevention...)

    Any thoughts on that?

I've got an F650GS with the Touratech WP suspension upgrade. It includes a new set of trees and bar mounts.

I'm getting riser clamp dimensions of 100mm x 43mm with an overall width of 130mm.

Got anything that'll work for me to get a set of your guards?

    Cheers

I just want to get out a huge thanks to Paul over @ HDB's.
After a simple inquiry about some smaller parts he supplies
they show up @ my door, in two days. Pics will be coming after I finish the install this weekend. These parts are a work of art, and the service second to none. Thanks again!

Paul was quick to help me sort out using his hand guards on a F800GS with Rox risers. Once we had it figured out he shipped everything promptly. The install was very easy & clean. The flip out mirrors are fantastic, very stable and way better than the stock mirrors (which are good only for lookign at yourself not the road behind you). Yesterday I "tested" the hand guards and can attest to there strength. Great product, fair price, and great service.

I mounted a set of Solstice lights and used the HDB Handguards as my mounting point.
