I have one of those heat shields from when I bought my Great Basin and it's great - but it's not a substitute for straps :1drink

    sorry bring back older thread.

I want to try mounting Alice (A.L.I.C.E or LC-1 ) mil surplus backpack frame on sides of TE 630

(to the passenger handle and passenger footpeg for good load bearing as TE 630 does not have the strongest subframe) -- see attached

The frame then lets to mount a medium size alice bag. To tie frame down -- to the footpeg and the passenger handle I would like to use Kevlar tiedowns (for best heat resistance and wear )
Does anybody know if such a thing exists (and of course other comments are welcome)

    thx
