So does anyone have a 140/80 - 17 in stock right now? I called Moto Amore and he said maybe end of June.

If not I'm going to get a set of TKC 80's for now and then swap out the rear once the TKC is shot.

It's all dried up. I'm in need of a rear and I've contacted everybody that Moto Amore said might have some and they were pretty much all sold out even before their shipments arrived.

I noticed Yeti's from the States. Your probably confusin miles with kms., Soph. 8000 miles is GOOOOD!. And I've heard some say even more than that. That's what I'm counting on.

My new front and rear K60s showed up on my front porch today thanks to FedEx for a speedy delivery. I lucked out and called right as someone they were sold to backed out of the deal. Too bad for him... too good for me. Dealer had ordered 40 but was only sent 10 and no more left until next shipment.

Not sure about the front as I was going to do the TKC but I'll give it a shot and see how it does. Lots of gravely roads around the front range of CO.

Can't wait to put 'em on.... only... Damn these sidewalls are stiff!!! It might be more work than it's worth! I might have my local shop put 'em on... I mean, you can frickin' sit on them and they'll support your weight!

Yep... they ARE really stiff and I will let the local shop do the labor on my behalf.

on the plus side, they're probably less likely to get a puncture...

As we speak I'm at the coffee shop across from Midwest Cycle, waiting for them to mount the K60's. The tech felt the sidewall and said, "you could probably classify them as 'run-flat' tires!" :lol3

I look forward to improved stability over the TKC's! Especially in the front. Front TKC's are squirelly than hell on this bike!

Interesting, I had the exact opposite feeling about the TKC on the front. I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised at how stable the TKC was both on gravel and pavement. Ripping through twisty side roads and even up to ~90mph on the freeway it felt totally planted to me.

Were you running TKCs on both ends?

+1. My only beef with the TKC was the extremely short lifespan of a rear tire (2700 miles).
