Personally, I think petrol is too expansive. Also, I read on Chanel #10 that methanol can kill you in Thai Land, so I don't want any in my tank. It stinks.

BTW does the subsidance to convert your petrol vehicle to the LPG mean the same for bikers? Yes? Who can you recommend for my postie rescue bike?

When I worked in a servo, you'd always fill the bikes up, though sometimes the rider would do it himself cause he didn't trust you to not overfill it and spill it on the hot engine. They would always pay you and not leave before you brung them the change. Cheapskates.

Anyways, thats how I remember it, though it probably wasn't as good as I remember it was.

So, take your helmet off, put your branded cap on to hide your helmet hair, Say hello to the attendant and smile, after all you're are enjoying yourself more than all those morons in cages aren't you?

Because they want us in the shop spending more money on stuff we didn't intend to buy, can't have us buying fuel and just whizzing off again without emptying our wallets/bank accounts as much as possible.

I tried my card at a Caltex/Woolworths one day because it said they accept Visa at the pump, but it turns out I have to link my Visa card to one of their own loyalty cards so they can track my purchases if I want to use the pump pay system.

i'm joining the servo fascist pary

    1 no helmets
2 no mobile phones, by the way they do not ignite the fuel
3 no filling the bike whilst siting on it, i have had them turn the fuel off for that one.

I always took my helmet off, it wasn't a hassle until I had to wear glasses now depending on the helmet I'm wearing it's a PITA. But as long as there are real problems in the world this thread is pathetic:hide

Usa has pay before but it has pay at the pump, this would be a win for motorcyclists as you dont remove helmet for pay at the pump.

But then it turned out to be a true proposal they are trying to push through down there, not just a rumour after all :deal

And if it goes through there then the rest of the country will blindly follow with yet another stupid law regarding motorcycle riding [FWIW I'm allergic to bees, and bees love flouro riding gear, I know they do, I've tried it and they loved me :rofl ]

They also love tractors in paddocks emitting diesel exhaust fumes, I learned that one the hard way too :huh

You blokes are nuts it wasn't that long ago that courtesy required a man remove his hat before walking indoors anywhere.
Seriously is it really that big a deal.
Instead of rattling off about your rights how about a little thought about responsibility instead, one day it might be your daughter at that cash register at 1am worried about this rough looking bloke making sure he cant be identified.
The best way way to make sure your rights are removed is to be aggressively antagonistic over bullshit that really is nothing but a little inconvenient at it's worst.
Courtesy, gentleman is the lubricant that makes it possible for a society to work! while we seem to be losing that ability daily, why be one of those who are determined to make sure that it disappears forever.
Leaving the hose laying on the ground seems to me to be a risky business in todays world ,the old "what if's" are pretty scary.

    Yes,

But as we were talking about the "pay at the pump" option cash is irrelevant.

I've tried.....but I'm fcuked if I can find an appropriate slot in the pump to shove the cash in to. :evil

Every time you put 20 litres of fuel in your bike your paying $10.35 tax to the Goverment, surely that's enough to get full driveway service and valet parking. Lobby your member now !
