Glad it worked out.
Ride it like you stole it! See ya' this afternoon in Harrisburg. You've got a nice meal and an evening of Yuengling Lager ahead of you. What more could you ask for?
Sorry we missed you Ghostrider! I was out of town delivering a bike this weekend. MotoCompound is closed on Sunday but we will open to help a stranded rider. My cell number is 423-762-3878 for future reference. Again, sorry we missed you and have a safe and fun ride.
You know, as many of us as there are; we need to establish an emergency call list. The last thing I want to read is about an ADV rider killed while stranded on the side of some road somewhere. I have a trailer and reasonable shop facilities and I would be glad to travel an hour in any direction from my house to help a member of the flock.
Let's not let this lie!!!!!
I did not think to use my blackberry to access ADV. But Dogscout was only about 10 miles from my blowout. I check emails with my blackberry had never accessed ADV until recently with it. I will be headed back through TN Thursday. Gonna go a bit slower and gonna try to avoid I 40. Any good routes that parallel I 40?
Thanks for the hospitality Dziner. Still think u need to road trip back to Texas on that old R1100R
Chuck, it's been done. Check out Dirty South's signature line.
Also, I started a thread that attempts to list bike shops that are open on Sunday and Monday to help our fellow travelers, but it hasn't gotten many hits which is kinda surprising as I thought it'd be a good resource. I do have 2 PM's I need to sit down and add their dealerships to the list when I get a chance.
Try 64 from Memphis to Winchester, then 50 to Altamont, 108 to Laager, L on 399, Right on 8 to 127, left on 127Nto Crossville. From there you can take 70 west almost until Knoxville where you'll want to get back on I40. Sorry I was out riding Sunday when you PM'd about the flat. Good to hear you're back on the road.
that's a good route. be careful on 64. it's often peppered with LEOs.
