Help, it is a very long and sad story but I need a choke cable for my 2006 950 Adventurer. From what I gather from KTM there are none in North America and KTM is waiting for the company in Sweden to make a new batch! Does anyone on the other continents of this planet have one.

OK, a bit of the story: rented bike out for a movie shoot-they drained the battery-jumped it with cables-fried lots of bits. The choke cable arced and fused together. All being fixed but no choke cable anywhere :cry.
    Thanks all.

any good bicycle shop has cable making supplies. Choke plunger spring tension is all you have to overcome so anything you can find in a bicycle shop is plenty strong for throttle cables as well

    -or-

you can make your own cable from a longer cable. Use silver solder, not lead, with metal flux from welding supply store. You can use simple propane torch, low flame, use lots of flux to wash cable & barrel end until the metal is clean & shiny THEN add solder- just a drop as long as you see it penetrate between the strands of the cable a few millimeters from the edge of the barrel.
