    Hi there,

I finally sold my Yamaha Tenerè 660 and got a used KTM 690 R (MY2009).

Of course I had to transfom it into a real Rallye Replica...

    Here the result:

    Looks good!
Are you gonna keep the high fender?
    What lights did you use?
Congrats, mine is halfway to a ADVLite status.

    Thanks to everybody.

    Abt the fender:
Yes, I guess so. I had experiences that even in Tunisia or Morocco you could find a lot of mud and with the low one ur getting in troubles... ;)

The lights are from www.louis.de ...cheap but...heavy! :(

    Cheers

Well thanks... I've been waiting for my 2 extra tanks from RallyRaid to complete the project... I'm afraid I'll have to cut off the lower part of the fairing...let's see.....:*sip*

you might want to think about relocating the horn up inside your fairing as they tend to get toasted in the stock location right behind the front wheel, especially if you like river crossings

Yeah, there are few "weird" stuff on the 690 needs to be tuned in order to use the bike as it was built for. One for sure is the horn as you said, then the bolts fixing the plastic cover of the radiator...if you get a hit on both sides close to the bolts, the risk you get a nice hole in the radiator is very very high! ;)

As I said the bike transform. is not over... the most is done but I need to complete it with "details" :)

    Paolo,

Where did you get that fairing?

Already have a setup on the 690R but I find myself constantly looking for something else even nicer!

    cheers
