Basically yes. 3 of the channels have some level of interaction with bike controls (such as horn, signals, wonderwheel, etc), the 4th channel is a pure accessory channel which is turned on/off with ignition, and you can adjust the time delays for it.
I am using the third channel as shown below and and have the following installed.
1. Stebel air horn at 10a (also have stock horn installed)
2. Driving light circuit at 10a for my heated vest. No need for a heat troller and I control heat output with wonder wheel and on/off with turn signal cancel.
3. Led license plate at 4a with running light/dynamic brake light
4. Accessory channel at 4a for J&M intercom/CB; radar detector & iphone charger
So far I only have a few hundred miles on this setup but it does everything I hoped it would.
I would love the ability to change settings with my Iphone or GS911. I don't travel with a laptop.
@thatHEXguy , adding to what hammick said above, maybe a 'profiles' option in the config software. You might have some things setup one way and saved as a profile, but want to quickly switch to some other profile for some reason.
Hi All. I was reading this thread and could not find the answer to my inquiry. I have a 2016 R1200GSW that I am installing a pair of Rigid D-SS and the Hex EZcan. My question, is if I run the Rigid D-SS lights on the 4Amp channels, would I still get the same functions (i.e. strobe on high beam flash, strobe on horn depress, off on the side that the turn signal is flashing, alternating with hazards) as if I had them installed on the two high Amp outputs? Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
Yes the 4a driving light channels use the second configuration option. You don't get the brake light with this configuration. It appears they operate exactly the same as with the first configuration using the high output.
The combined driving light output is on the third configuration option and I assume the only difference is how the lights work with the blinkers since there is only a single channel. I assume the lights both go out when either left or right blinker is activated.

@hammick has it exactly right, and yes, on the third config option both lights go out if the "Off when turn signal active" option is enabled.

I ordered one, it should arrive today. The first thing I will install is a marine USB outlet that is "weatherish" proof.
can ezcan go with clearwater servina for bmw?
I should be receiving my lights, Hex EZCan and brackets next week.

Can the second row set up (the two high power outputs indicate horn and other accessory) be used for an accessory other than a horn (ie powerlet outlet, GPS, heated gear, etc.)?
The horn icon indicates that it would only provide power when the horn was in operation. While it could power anything such as a powerlet, it would only be "ON" when the horn was being pressed.
The horn output provides power only when the horn is active.
What all do you want to power from the Hex ezCAN?
In addition to the Rigid D-SS lights, I have my heated jacket liner (draws 7Amps) and possibly an mini portable air compressor. I was just mainly asking for possible future use of the other two high power outputs.
It would be nice if the horn or brake outputs could be configured as additional accessory circuits. I'm not planning on adding a horn but it would be awesome to run my heated gear on that output.
I would also like to see option of running 4A circuits for lights and 10A for accessories. I have Denali micros, TR3 brake light and bunch of accessories.
Perhaps we could define each channel separately instead of these combinations. I would use 2x 4A for lights, 10A for accessory and one for brake light.
BTW, is anyone having issue with the strobe feature on flash to pass. I can only get higher intensity just like switching to high beam. The strobe works fine during horn activation.
Would like to know. Is the output setup fully customizable? I would like to have my aux lights on individual outputs so that they can be controlled for flashing a turn signal (for example). Another output for the brake light control and a final output for a horn or second power outlet. Is this possible?
