I'm in the market for a new hi-viz vest. I currently have a Bilt Hi-Viz vest that just isn't cutting it. I used to ride with a leather sportbike jacket, and the el cheapo Bilt vest worked just fine. However, I now have a Klim textile jacket and the Bilt vest rides up and flaps around my neck to the point that it is simply unusable. With the leather jacket, the flapping was bearable; it flapped, but it never rode up against my neck like it does now. I never liked the vest; it always felt cheap and flimsy, but it worked. With my new textile jacket, this vest just won't work at all.

For those of you who are using hi-viz vests, what are you using?

I wear a neon yellow Hit-Air vest. It does more than just look pretty and it doesn't flap in the breeze.

There is a barely worn Fieldsheer vest hanging in my closet that fits nicely over a size medium to large jacket. If you want it for the cost of shipping, PM me.

That Hit-Air vest looks really great... But definitely out of my price range.

Thank you for the generous offer, but I'm solidly an XL size.

I had an Icon vest that was great when I was in the Air Force. If I was stateside I would also offer to send you that one for shipping costs. Don't need it now that I'm a civilian.

I use the Olympia over my jacket and mesh suit. Very adjustable and versatile. Not inexpensive but effective.

I've had one for years and used it over a number of jackets and jerseys. It has nice adjustable elastic sides and fits well for me. I'm also an xl and dont seem to have any issues.

Was in the cage today and couldn't help but notice a rider wearing a high viz vest way up the road. All my gear is black or gray so I'm considering a high viz vest. What do you recommend? Thanks

I use a Glowrider electro luminescent vest. It is hi vis and has added light strips for night riding. I got it on clearance as they got rid of my size (3xl). I wear it over my black leather jacket when commuting to work.

Great vest! I just got one last month and did 2,400 miles in it. It fits comfortable, light. I bought 2 extra cartridges jus in case I went down or forgot to unhook the lanyard.
