Hey Rob - can't make Dirty Nelly's on Sat, but The American Wake is playing at Quinn's Pub in Tustin on Friday. I'll be in town for a soberectomy & that's one place I might end up. If you show up, bring a camera. I don't plan on remembering much.

    Never been there before.
    Don't know if there's a cover.
No philanthropic cause that I know of.
    Not familiar with American Wake.
I think alcohol of some sort may be present.

You can go here and listen to their music. http://www.theamericanwake.com/discography.htm

Kind of Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Black 47, Flogging Molly vibe. Good Irish bar brawling music. :freaky

I may be able to ride Sunday but have to ride my 300 2 stroke. Got my 530 prepped an for an overnight ride from my house in Apple Valley to Pioneertown next Thursday and don't want to break or bend anything on that bike that would make me miss the P Town ride.

I've lived in High Desert for 33 years and might know where the good trails are.

I'll send you a cleaned up track after the ride. Should be 250 to 300 miles miles round trip depending on what we end up riding. The route has alot of good trails and a decent amount of singletrack, plus the usual dualsport transfer sections. Easy fuel stops. Pioneertown is about 75 miles on the highway from AV as you may know.

I drew out a track on GE from my house to the Slash using all trails, washes, ridges with no dirt roads. Hope to try it out Saturday.

Wish I could go on one of these rides.
But my bike, a DR200SE, is pretty sketchy at freeway speeds for an extended time, and I haven't got a truck to throw it in.

Not much dirt in Torrance... LOL!

I do enjoy seeing pics from all these places though, going to try for a truck this summer so I can haul this thing out there.

Been wanting to try and take the 405 out to Castaic and then out to Kern via back roads but not really sure if I'd want to push it on the freeway.
People doing 90 in the slow lane!

Actually I really should stay down one more week, but the foot feels good in the boot. Considering heading up to Keys with you guys, not sure yet.

John you really should let that foot heal up.

We all take a little longer to heal as we get older and your the one who has to live with it.

    Keep your feet up!!

Broken toes last year and a broken foot this year???

When in doubt... raise'em up!! :lol3

OK... my final plan. Arriving early Saturday AM... probably about 7:30AM.

Will have the truck and toyhauler... spending the night Saturday and riding Sunday AM... leaving around noon-ish.
Flag should be up... look for 2 Foot RIDERS Logo on Trailer Tailgate.

Bike is ready too. Added skid plate, hand guards, new grips, non-functioning headlight and blinks to look more street legal.

Hoping the graphics kit will act as camo in the woods... Rangers will never see me !
