is there such a thing. i'm riding an 06 Uly right now and love this bike. but it's running street/sport tires. it handles dirt and gravel like a champ with these tires and i was wondering what kind of options are out there for a dualpurpose tire in a 17"
i know this is opening a can of worms but what do you guy suggest. i do alot of commuting miles for work but i'm just as likely to take a roundabout way home that usually turns into management area access roads before i get home.

I've run both the Michelin Anakee II and the Tourance (original Tourance not the EXP) and got good mileage from both,
the Tourance is a bit quieter on the road and to my (not hyper-perceptive) mind about the same off-road.

Neither are worth a damn in the mud as the tread pattern is just not very aggressive ...

Oh... I should have started this with "IMHO" :lol3

Most mileage I've ever gotten out of a tire.

stock dunlop 705 were done at 3500 miles running k60s front and rear on my 2012 klr the rears are wearing well fronts showing not much signs of wear but 2500 miles into it,they are getting rather noisy .. to handle off road its a must i air down or front just walks around .. once aired down no issues ..

ive ridden them so far 70/30 highway so far with very little wear . in the rain and gravel both great traction so far as well ..
