Dang Jim I'm sure I speak for the crowd here, you sure don't let too much grass grow under your feet! :D As always, good to see the reports and can't wait for more. You will absolutely love the Canadian maritimes, a few years ago, I did part of the ride you are doing and it was FANTASTIC! Lot's of beautiful things to see up there! I look at it this way, the more places you go, the more of the good word you spread! Keep it up man, this is GREAT! Oh, and travel safely!

Since all the pics are on Jim's camera, he'll have to post 'em, but I sure enjoyed hanging out with him here in Maine (I'm on a 4 Corners odyssey, heading for the Easternmost in the contiguous US, Lubec ME). Jim showed up in Otisfield at my buddy's house and "accompanied" us to Lubec and hung out for the night.

Like I said, we had a great time. Jim, you're welcome wherever I land anytime.

Gotta say that the biggest drag of doing this thing after the fact is that the mood/energy/way I'm interpreting life right now, is different from a couple months ago! :huh Makes it harder to pic music and cancel out my current thoughts and remember where I was then.
Aaaanyway I look forward to catching up with you again and maybe it'll be down Tenn N Carolina way come the end of November if yer still in that neck a the woods.
Peace Bro and tell Phil I said HIGH!

Oh aaand your also welcome to show up wherever I may roam... Anytime day or night.

    Anybody up this waaayyyy
But I'm in the middle of a TransLab ride on my HighAdventureTour and just had some serious engine failure... could use a pickup or trailer and a place to tear into the Desiree's engine 705cc KLR.

I'm between Badger and Grand Falls Windsor Newfoundland... pushing the bike toward Grand Falls.

I'll check for PMs later tonight if I have signal.

    Thanx,
    Jettn Jim

HaaaaaHaaaa weeelllllll isn't life a blast eh?!?!?

Here's the rundown so far brotha Alex....

As some of you know I'm on the tail end of my HighAdventureTour doing the TransLab... about 10mi back Desiree' pretty much seized up on me doin' about 75...
I pushed her a Mile.2 then a GREAT GUY Harvey in NewfnLAND like Friendliness pulls up and says he'll be back with ramps...
he comes back we load her up and off to Grand Falls-Windsor NewfnLand we go.
He, his Beautiful wife and I talk and share Rum for 4hrs... now I'm camped out in the garage next to my beloved Desiree'. *Will open her up tomorrow and see if it's catastrophic/fatal....
Interesting twist to this final chapter in my ADVtouring career... :D :lol3 :1drink I love how the universe works.... probably the best night of the ride soo far!

    Peace,
    JJ

PS... having thoughts of leaving him and his boy Mike the bike... then hitchhiking across the TLab home??? :poser We shall see........

Ok let's get some more Moab fun outta the way so we can keep this thing rolling...
I had forgotten to post this pic for Hondo.... man maybe ya need one a these huh buddy? :lol3

Before Esther gets into town I roll over to Fred's (Arrowhead Motorsports) to see what's up, some of the KLR gang is supposed to be there.
    Lee, Laurie and Gordon...

Yup Gordon "Guido", Storm "in2dabluz", Lee "Hondo", Sgt. Marty and wife Laurie, Esther "NomadGal", Laura "big_lv and Jim "shakesbeer" were there, Alex "Parepin" rolled in form Cali shortly... I hadn't seen him since last October when he came by the house on his way to Baja...
    Marty...
Laura swapping her rear tire and Esther learning.... I had to butt out since I was trying to show her my tricks (like I normally do) but she has her own style and LOTSA experience.
    Alex rolling in...
Then we head out to see some views...

I'll add to this a bit later since this wireless connection is a bit sloooooooooooow here in NL :huh
    Peace,

Yep, we had fun, found a great place in the Lynneville Gorge Forest and camped out for two days. Two rainy days :). I have to say, I love my tent! I stayed dry. Feike went to Asheville to swap his sleeping pad at REI, has was detaching from the inside and changing into a balloon. I am at MicroDan in Ellenboro thinking about checking out the right side of the engine. She is making a lot of noise still, and now overheating as well, somehow the fan is not kicking in anymore.
