Here is my current set up with a picture from a recent trip to test out my stuff before a trip next month out west. It is lacking tent /sleeping bag in this photo. This is my main transportation as I haven't had a serious car for several years. The rear luggage is currently a permanent set up. It is fairly stock, aside from the mix of aftermarket/oem bodywork and luggage. I didn't feel the need for to many mods with this motorcycle, just the urge to ride.

This was my first sportbike. A 2003 CBR 600 RR.

I know this is the CB Thread, but that Honda looks just like a BMW I put together 10 years ago. Got to say it looks good on the Honda also :thumb

Looked like a Ferrari, hell they sound like one at speed! I've wanted one since they came out myself, one day.

    BEAUTIFUL BIKE BTW!!:evil:evil

I know it's a bad idea, but in a sick, twisted way, a great one. I've wanted, for a looong time, to build 2 identical and put them in a 23T bucket set side by side, with a 6 speed tranny and a quick change rear. Otherwise keep it old school.

The sound of that would be pure sex!!::evil:evil

I'm glad I found this thread, It's inspirational, My 79 CB 750 F/S has been just sitting outside for a couple years and I just started looking for parts for it. When I start on it I'll have to do a build thread. I think it's going the Steve McQueen direction, as I like dirt roads. I CAN'T FRIGGIN' WAIT!!!

Picked up another. '73 CB 500, bought from the original owner. This bike was last plated in'82 and stored ever since. It turns over, has about half of the original tool kit, and the oil looks good. Paint is faded but has both sidecovers. I want to de-rust the tank, give it a good wash, and maybe de-rust the chrome.

And then this is in rebuild, a '76 CB70 chopper in a Santee frame.

I've got two bike projects ahead of that one. The chopper pictured, and a '95 Ninja ZX600R that is a replica of my second bike. the chopper is in pieces right now, as is the ninja which I thought would just be a simple motor and plastics swap. Turns out the new motor is a bolt in like it was advertised.

My 2002 954RR. As soon as she was mine I replace those god-awful grips, bar ends, and tank pad. New black grips, black bar ends, and black tank pad. Also added stomp grip tank grips, and Pilot Power 3s front and rear (180 in rear). Very fun bike, although I'm glad I didn't buy it for the gas mileage :eek1

Will try and get better pics up once the snow is gone.

This winter I worked on a friend's CBR F4i. The fuel tank was badly rusted inside, fuel pump was dead and fuel valve was all clogged up.

Few visits to the salvage yard for replacement fuel tank, fuel pump, injectors, fuel valve... and got it back in action pretty nicely..

With trips to the salvage yard, I even picked me up a spare bike for cheap:

Fun bikes these F4i's, very forgiving ride.. does the seat latch always fall apart on these bikes??

What is the deal with the vanishing fuel guage after fillups?
