A few more gorgeous machines added, that CBR is immaculate! I was stoked to stop at the dealer today and see this waiting for me....finally after a few months of wanting and waiting it is here.

I know its not much to get exicted about, but I'm stoked. And if anyone needs another tank let me know, mine had some bubbles under the paint after the PO fixed a large dent. I wasn't going to settle with the bubbles, my wife says I'm OCD.

New to the forum but not to bikes. Just picked up a crash job CB1000 to restore for this coming season, looking forward to putting some serious miles in (After some serious hours in the shop). I'm in the market for parts so if you guys have anything laying around, let me know! Here she is in all her mishapen glory

Should have kept this longer and just put the money into the motor to fix the lack of horsepower.

The side cover looks like is says 175. Wasn't the 160 replaced by the 175 in like '67 or '68?

I have been amazed at how many people that have stopped and told me the same thing. I had always wanted an 82 CBX since 1982. Back then I had a CB 360T as my only transportation and was a freshman in collage, and the dealer that I bought my parts from had a twin to this bike in the window of the place. Back then it was like looking at a Ferrari, it just looked fast. Fast forward to 2003 a friend asks if I could look at a friend of his bike that had broken the chain and smashed the engine case. That was this bike. 6 years later he finally sells me the bike.

It only had 9000 miles on it.

First time in 10 years it had seen daylight, loading it up to bring it home.

It took me 3 years to get it back in working order and I could not be any happier :D

Nice bike! I am pretty sure I own its twin. Now if I could just find a good deal on a used Corbin seat for it...

I have a 1995 CBR600f3 that I bought new. I used it as a sport touring bike, commuter, and my LD bike.
I don't think I could ever sell it, maybe retire it to the living room.

Here's my baby CBX wannabe, my 900F Supersport. Rode to Portland and back this weekend, tore around on some dirt and mud back alleys like a responsible vintage Honda owner, and today we are wiring up 2x55w aux lights for her upcoming trip to Phoenix and back. Long live the Old Grey Mare.

New to me F4i. 2nd weekend of ownership - I had to take it out for Easter weekend. Living away from your family isn't so bad...you get to spend Holiday weekends however you want!

If you notice, that's an auto helmet under the net, complete with HANS device under poking out of the seat bag. Took the bike over to Gingerman raceway to help a buddy dial in his new to him s2000...just like my s2000 only slower. :rofl

Would have taken my car out, but with two race weekends coming up the next two weekends, my budget wouldn't hold, plus I needed an excuse to take the bike out for the weekend! :D
