Not taking away anything from anyone who makes videos for youtube, i don't do it after all, but that has to be the most useless bike video i have ever seen.

I watch it expecting the UFO in the background, or the car fire on the right or something of some substance to happen or present itself.

Most mags tend to ring the bike's neck, so I'd expect better in real world conditions. I too hope.

Now I see why people were saying that these manufacture sponsored events for moto-journalists have become way too unsafe!! Am I the only one a bit disturbed by this video? Didn't anybody learn a thing from Kevin Ash's death?

It's called fun. While I no longer ride a sport bike and laying darkies outta the corners of my local mountain squid hangout but I still like playing. We ride like that on a regular basis. Yes, people sometimes pay for their "fun" in this sport. Riding a bike is inherently unsafe as compared to driving a cage but you choose to be "less safe" because the experience of riding outweighs the safety short comings. To those guys and others, wicking it up a bit and having fun is well worth the risk.

Hell, those guys riding at that level are probably more safe than a lot of people I see riding a sedate pace in the mountains. I mean that, alot of people have no idea of how to ride and shouldn't be on a bike at all but as long as they abide the speed limit, people think they are "safe" and then see those like in the video as unsafe.

Just my opinion and I'm not jumping on you for your opinion,,, just offering it up as a rebuttle.

BTW,,,, I'm sorta interested in this for my wife but man, I really wish it had a 19 front and a bit more travel especially in the front. Can't wait to see if people find a quick and easy donor. My wife's Ascot is a great Adv Tourer but it's getting a bit long in the tooth.
