Well as I look through these hallowed pages, I see a few of you own Honda Scramblers, so I thought it would be fun to have a thread showing who owns what, so come on then, lets see what you got.

I suppose I had better start then with a picture of my K5....

I still have the blue and white stock one (bought it for 250$) But I sold my dirt CL350 to make room for more bikes.

Here's the Pretty one I bought and then traded (along with $$ and a CB450) for a G/S:

    Here is what is left:

    and

and a CB350 that will get the CL treatment in the future:

Another CL that has a promising future.

And there's an extra motor and two complete sets of CL pipes and lots of other bits in boxes just waiting. I've got three CL/CB bikes from which to make one nice CL. A thread for another time.

None of it is pretty now but it will be.

[What, you were looking for pretty ones?]

Very good, the hardest part for me to find is pipes (mine have a little rot) as the CL scrambler version was never sold on this side of the pond, so are still pretty rare over here, and as such parts are at a premium.:cry won't stop me finding a set though....:1drink

I like the CB pipes better. There. I said it.

You seem to know quite a bit about these old 350s Cordless! expect a PM or two.....

So if you're not gonna use those CB pipes....wanna trade? I got a shiney G/S muffler all boxed up!

The cb pipes add 3 hp alone with no other mods.

what's up with the fork boots? are those year specific changes? I thought the CLs had the shrouds and the CBs had the boots but RobbieO's 70 has the shrouds. Or is that a CL with CB pipes? I thought that was the CL paintjob

I'd really like to put the shrouds on my Dad's CB. Any fitment issues?

Any general words of wisdom about these bikes from those that know? I've heard things about the oil filter, but don't really know anything. Apparently the screws on the cam sprocket are different, stuff like that?

Yea, almost as good as another Airhead thread. I'll contribute to the humor.

There are still a couple of things left to do but basically, here is the completed bike. I know I'm missing a screw on the heat shield and the turn signal needs to be adjusted. The front brakes are still not very good and I need new spokes and the hubs restored. I'm also still looking for the left side HONDA badge if you know where I can find a nice one.

Remember, the engine was never removed so the cases and frame need some attention as well. Maybe next winter....

dang them covers are shiney! what'd you do to polish those? What kinda maintenance does it take to keep them that way? were those tappet cover chromed?!

I just got some first overbore pistons for my CB. Looks like something got sucked into the combustion chamber--there are dents all over one piston and the head so I need a new head too. At least they're cheap! Hopefully I'll be posting up pics soon(CL or NoT!)

The covers are polished on a buffing wheel. I did not spend a ton of time on them so they may look better in the photo than they are. I used aircraft stripper on them them to remove the factory clear. On some of them I used some 600 grit wet/dry to remove corrosion first. Tappets are polished. I don't know about maintenance since I just finished it up.
