Hey we're on thread page 1k and no one noticed,
Ok I'm wrong @jyrays did but I didn't
Fully understand that!! I got a bit emotional when I read this and didn't even experience it.
I was excited but extremely worried all at the same time, crazy, just hope he doesn't start doing wheelies !!
Go to the 2:44 mark for some AT commuting. I think it is Texas.
Not the best Ambassador.
Not sure of tyres.
If I wanted to risk a ticket, I would have gone to the right lane and creaped by near the gravel and dirt.
Lane splitting California style would have been risky cause a cager might take the law in their own hands.
Lastly, the AT is a ADV Bike, not a dual sport. But he can call her whatever he wants, he paid for her.
Some piccies from James's first ride on the dirt today, no incidents it all worked perfectly which was amazing as it was a very rough and rocky track. Parked up outside Woodford Cafe but because he can't carry a chair YET he has to stay on the bike so we bought over one of the cafe umbrellas. Looked like the start line of the Grand Prix but without the bikini chick with the fake boobs.
And the video !!!!
Excellent job and congratulations.
That video gave me goosebumps. Everyone involved is a true inspiration, best wishes for many happy miles.
Very inspiring, congratulations. I'm also looking for a good left hand rear brake. Can't wait to see the brake sistem when you're totally happy with it.
I am ready for 2k!

More Adventure-Worthy Honda Africa Twin On The Way
Patent designs suggest larger fuel tank for CRF1000L Africa Twin

A new, more adventure-focused version of the Honda Africa Twin may be on its way, offering more off-road capability and a larger fuel tank. The new model may make its debut in a couple of weeks at EICMA as a 2018 model. It will likely be based on the Africa Twin Adventure Sports Concept (pictured above) that was shown off in early 2016.
Evidence of this new variant comes to us via design patents filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for a new fuel tank and tail side cover. While the patents don’t mention what motorcycle they will below to, the designs show a clear similarity with the current Africa Twin. Maurizio Carbonara, the designer of the Africa Twin, is listed as one of the designers of these two new patents, further establishing the connection to the AT.
The new fuel tank design looks very much like the current CRF1000L Africa Twin’s tank, having the same sloping angle and the bulges on either side where it would meet the
November 6 Honda will present a new adv bike, might be it.
Our dealer is expecting an 2018 model next week. Apart from black colour (not available previously), he doesn't think there's been any changes for the Aussie model.
If there's a bigger tank and seat change, I might consider an upgrade. No change, no need.
Going to run mine till it don't run no more or It crushes me lol.
I love these great big articles that are full of maybe's??? Such BS
We're waiting for the show, but if nothing trips our trigger we'll be looking for a deal on a 2017 this winter. The dealer is already willing to do $12,500 manual, 12,999 DCT, no freight, no setup.
