Honda new scoot?
Old news! You should check the forum before posting. Just saying.
This has got to stomp on the BMW performance wise, mileage, around the corners, light to light. Not sure on the seat height, but taller still. The price may not give you nosebleeds though.
Y'all its old but its a ways back.
But as most people meantioned in the old forum, its OK but it ain't exactly what most of them there scooter enthusists is lookin for.
Its kind of cool but its got one of them unnecessarly complicated engine designs I think its got that there Dual Clutch like the VFR 1200 does which is cool actually but a CVT with them there shifting modes is enough this will just add to the price we don't wanna hear.
Man I'll tell you Honda is jackin up their damn prices! We was at a Honda Motorcycle store today and man the Goldwing now costs over 28K! I could buy me a Harley Electra Glide for 18K-20K. It seems to me that Harley and Honda is slowly switched cause you can get you a Goldwing way cheaper at like 20K not long ago and Harleys was more.
Scooters? Ruckus still too much, like over 2.5K I ain't never payin to 2.5K for no 50 cc Scooter. They still have 2 SH150is in stock for 4.5K ain't not sold yet. They have the PCX 125 and too much not sold neither like $3,399 or something. Just buy a Elite 250 and have $2,000+ left to spare on a used Sportster for highway riding! No seriously.
Cruisers too much too. Like 13K for the Fury, Harley's Dyna Wide Glide IMO looks cooler chopper styled as well better paint job and a true American V-Twin and its only $1,500 more! The Shadow 750 is too much too, like over $7,000! No thanks a Sportster will do for about the same. Even the CRF230L Dual Sport was $5,500!
Man who does Honda think they is? They ain't no American Bike Company, seriously they simply can't charge that much. And whoever is incharge of designing what we wants an idiot. SERIOUSLY! Tell me who the hell don't want a well priced, simple 300 cc CVT scooter with EFI and 95 MPH true top speed and about 72-80 MPG? Or a 150 cc-250 cc Ruckus? BUT well priced? Even Kymco IMO is charging far too much for their bigger 300 cc Scoots at $5K+!
>>The bike is aimed at being the motorcycle equivalent of the Cub scooter, a utility machine with low running costs, which in the modern era means exceptionally good fuel economy.
I think they tried to make it less complicated. It's a whole new deal anyway.
Really it's a motorcycle in scooter garb. It probably doesn't ride like a scooter. I'm thinking it costs less than a silver wing and gets better mileage.
I think the bikes keep getting more expensive because the banksters keep stealing all our money!
You got that right. The People GT 300i is the successor to the People S 250, which was the successor to the People 250.
MSRP prices for these models:
People 250: $3,999
People S 250: $4,499
People GT 300i: $5,399
Now, I know the GT 300i is a good bit faster than the other two, but, basically fills the same market segment at $1,400 more than the 250, and $900 more than the S 250. They're getting into the same price range as the Aprilias and Piaggios.
And word on the street...the GTi 300 is as good or better than the Aprillas and Piaggios.
Yes, but the Aprillias are over priced, as are the Piaggios. And the Vespas are in the same league of overpriceness as the Hondas.
I believe, it, but is it $900 better than the People S 250, or $1400 better than the People 250?
OR, perhaps the Kymcos were just underpriced to get a food hold in the market, and build their reputation, and are now able to command a higher price; much as the Kia and Hyundai, and for that matter the Japanese car mfgs. 30 years before them, have with their cars.
some good video riding the Integra

i also think scoot companies know in the US, sales are slow. lots of off season and discount scoots available. so when they slash prices for a big sale it drives sales up. can't have special pricing if the pricing is already lower, however
seems Taiwanese makes cut deals more. from what i have read actual OTD pricing at scooter only shops can be quite reasonable when put next to a large powersports store
They just started to appear in our shops and I am thinking of arranging a test ride perhaps some time next week after Easter... They cost A$10,990 which is actually and unusually for Honda quite reasonable for our prices. It is also noticeably cheaper than Burgman or T-Max and personally I think it will be a machine superior to either of them in most ways apart from storage space.
It would be great to hear what you think about it. The dct looks more simple and robust than the two other transmissions, I guess it is going to be more efficient than a manual. Keeping it under 70mph should give stellar mpg.
I don't know if you could beat the Burgman's roominess, but two up on the Integra looked pretty comfortable. The riding position looks more natural on the Integra. With the bags, I read the storage as 2@29l and 1@45l.
I love the wind protection, but I wonder what the difference is. The bottom line is, that thing looks incredibly fun to ride. I'd like to try it myself.
I've heard the integra won't be available here in the US. Of the three new Hondas only the nc700x will be sold here. Base price $7000. I'd love to take one for a test ride.
