It is working well, thank you. Of course there is noise but at least my sunglasses stay on my head now at 60. :clap. I, um, am not an ATGATT guy 100%. So shoot me. As you prolly know, Wisconsin is not a helmet state.

    Life is full of choices

So, the dealer where I bought my PCX had a scooterite gathering Sunday. It turned out to be a 200 mile day. There was only one PCX there. :D

Mostly Vespa's and Genuine Buddy's. Do scooters and CanAm's not get along?

It was a fun day. Neat to see so many nice scoots young and old.
The PCX averaged 93.7 MPG for the 200 miles and most of it was balls to the wall. (Trying to keep up to those two CanAm's on a poker run) This lil bike is starting to grow on me. I am at 1000 miles with no probs so far,,,

    Howdy,

Siyeh, you show me up every time you post about your impressive PCX! Mid 60s for mph, low 90s for mpg..and all for $1,000 less than my Honda Sh150i. Nevermind the better underseat storage and front glove compartment(s).
Basically you are getting 5 more mph, 10 more mpg, better storage..and all for $1,000 less. :1drink

I have put 2000 trouble free miles on my PCX so far. We have a foot of snow on the ground here in Wisconsin so all of our family's bikes are sleeping in the basement. The PCX scored a few items for Christmas.

    Some handguards.

Sorry for the messy basement, but the bikes don't complain. It's warm and dry they sleep well. :D

since I have gone around Lake Superior twice, clockwise, this time I should go counter clockwise.

I will just back road it to Green Bay then head for The Soo and see what happens.

Well it took a year or so, but I pick up my new PCX tomorrow. And by waiting, I get one of the elusive candy red ones! Don’t laugh, but I traded a 2003 V-Max for it. So I go from 120 hp to 10 hp but will be driving at the same 35-40 mph! The V-Max was really annoying stuck behind the SLOW traffic here in NH. (Don’t worry: I still have a Valkyrie when I need a big bike for 500 mile days.) But I suspect the PCX will be my bike of choice for summer rides to the beach. :D

And by the looks of the news today, Iran and Saudi Arabia cutting oil exports, I snagged this scooter just in the nick of time.

Any feedback on how you're enjoying the bike? It's a lot more fun to ride a slow bike fast than it is to ride a fast bike slow.

Has anyone figured out some low cost mods to wake the little beast up?
