my question quoted post 470, are you the co-inventor, or spokesman? I am asking about a specific model motorcycle, knowing that they all have different fuel maps, and not fully understanding the function of this unit.

i thought the FRK was well known, here is a link:

And yes IICE Air will work on your bike.

I have gone thru the thread and noted all of the posts that go into technical detail that helps to explain just what IICE Air is all about. There are also a few posts that go into the next generation(s) of devices as well.

So here are most of the technically specific posts of note.

The IICE Air, just like the Power FRK, is a one-size-fits-all electrical device. They are not tailored to each BMW bike.

A major difference is the IICE Air is adjustable to one of 4 different 'temperature offset' settings. That adjustment works and performs the same no matter which model bike its on.

A single device works because all bikes have this in common. They all burn the same fuel, in the same atmosphere.

The 'pull down' on the vendor thread paypal button does list all the bike models. That's either for sales tracking, or for appearance sake. It has nothing to do with the electrics.

<BR>Rattis, just an FYI, there's a limited ordering window. Presently it's set to 2 weeks.

Poolside, can you comment on expected performance related to the overpriced resistor?

Poolside: If I understand this all correctly, you have plans to address the individual run conditions (tip in, tip out, etc) with individual devices?

Will these devices eventually interlink, or continue to work independently of each other?

Do these devices (some or all) produce fixed values of output, or variable?
If variable, variable by manual adjustment or adjust automatically to conditions?

Could you please list the distinct advantages over something like the Power Commander with auto tune?

Any insight on the install or a pic of the device (Not interested in seeing the guts of it)

Is it just plug n play in air temp line?

    Thanks....

I have been waiting to buy with great interest BUT.....
Does it plug in line with air temp sensor? Is there a remote temp sensor to be routed to intake air?
There obviously will be a fuel mileage compromise...any comment on how much?
I find it hard to order something with out at least seeing what I am buying.

I am already running the one from the Netherlands GS club and would be more than willing to do a real life comparison with yours.
I keep records of every km fuel consumption, plug color, cold weather starting (which btw, is greatly improved)

    Me too.

Are we not BMW riders? We are genetically predisposed to spend money on our rides.

Yes it's plug-n-play but it is adjustable to allow you to dial it in for your conditions (summer heat, winter cold etc.)

As for pictures Poolside will have to answer that one.

And let me restate the deal on this device.
This is a one time batch order situation.

Which means there is a 2 week window to order a device. After that there will be no more availability of this device.

Think of it as a one shot opportunity.

There is a lot of technical talk that honestly went over my head and lost my interest. I know you put a lot of work into it and seem to know what the heck you are talking about I got lost. I did read the posts that were noted as having he technical info. I guess my big question is what will this do that my Booster Plug/Accelerator module doesn't already do/not do?

IICE Air is adjustable to allow you to compensate for winter and summer conditions. The other air temp modules don't have that ability.

In our research we found that the 'one size fits all' approach didn't work well, especially in the summer heat, nor during winter cold.

C'mon guys....I have done lots of product development in my career and up front info is the key to sales success.
Do you have a .pdf instruction manual? One the would explain initial setup and installation? Something that we all can read while we wait?
I have a strong technical background and understand what has been discussed so far but I still have questions...what about the guys that are not technically savvy? Condensing 34 pages of discussion doesn't cut it.
I am also curious why there is only a 1 time run of a device that realistically speaking would be have a reasonably long production life.
    How about warranty?
If it is truly "plug and play" why do you have this disclaimer in your ad? - "As you know, this is a vehicle electrical part. And like all vehicle electrical parts, they are not returnable." - what could the installer possibly do install it incorrectly?

Frankly after all the hype and discussion on this thread I am confused on the direction that this is suddenly taking.
